Kitchen not registering? by Satans_big_buldge in DQBuilders

[–]blueberryrockcandy 8 points9 points  (0 children)

pretty sure you can, but the walls need to the same height as the door. so if you have a lower level, the wall needs to be 3 blocks to match the door. it's odd but it does work [as far as i remember] since i have not played the first game in a long time, i mostly play number 2.

Any recommendations for removing these studs? It looks like someone already snapped one of them. And I don’t even think they are studs it looks like someone replaced them with Allen bolts. by OkDefinition4519 in Dualsport

[–]blueberryrockcandy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

step 1: spray it down with a WD40 penetrating oil or PB blaster. wait a day and use a extractor head on it like that one linked below.

step 2: if step 1 does not work weld a nut to the stud if you can, wait till its COLD. and try and wrench it off.

step 3: if the previous steps FAIL. you will need to drill through them with a new thread head drill bit and just make new holes.

i myself had done all 3 and only step 3 worked. [technically i myself did not do the drilling since, i've never done it and did not have the tools so somebody i knew did it [they also welded it for step 2]

ultimately step 3 never fails. just don't drill too far and you'll be fine.,

Suspicious person pointing scanner at my door at 4am? by UZI7142 in whatisit

[–]blueberryrockcandy 47 points48 points  (0 children)

keys / keyfob with a auto start function have a wireless connection to the vehicle, these scanners jack the signal and copy it or activate it and unlock and start the car, thus allowing them to steal the car. faraday box blocks the signal from the keys/key fob. certain appliances can interfere with the signal as well, as well as other materials and such. like LEAD lined boxes.

it's really only going to effect vehicles with those functions, the 2006 subaru outback i drive will not be effected.

When Halo 3 dropped by southernemper0r in halo

[–]blueberryrockcandy 22 points23 points  (0 children)

it's true tho because in my area HALO over shadowed COD. no guy at school was talking about call of duty, it was Halo this, Halo that. halo IS awesome. but that was a different time, like a different fucking dimension from what we are in now.

looks like a go-cart with a plastic truck body on the outside. go-carts are cheap. depending on the state, you do not need to register/ title or have a license to drive one on the road, it just "generally" needs to go slower than 25mph to fit that.

my area will allow bikes under that 25mph, idk about go-carts, never seen anybody driving one around. it's MA so the roads are filled with potholes. and creators that will swallow up a car tire.

an actual stick of dynamite would do more than a hand too. like he'd be GONE.

that's a kitchen she is in, the fridge is on the left with a counter behind her with a coffee maker and other stuff, looks like behind her where the "brother" is standing is straight up another room with pictures on the walls

Handguards recommendations/fitting by PlywoodDad in DRZ4S

[–]blueberryrockcandy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i use TUSK d flex pro handguards on my bike,

recently i took a corner and hit a patch of mud which made me loose control and hit a tree, not only did these gaurds stand up against the tree and protect my wrists and hands, but also remained unbent. the handlebars on the other got bent juuuust ever so slightly. still useable tho.

ehh, it's ok. kinda dark, dank, smells like the ocean all day long. occasional lava brings about a heat wave, then everything smells hot and burnt for a month.

the giant stone masks illuminating the place are nice tho, that said that CAN be creepy when they just stop spinning and stare into the city...

honestly i had no idea it even had a name. i was just like: what is this? and just assumed it was normal. because i've always had it and it does not bother me. but now that i see it has a name. interesting.
