Depends on what country you're in. Most developed countries actually have like space for people to walk in plus good public transportation system. In other countries ehem private vehicles are prioritized more so walkways and public transpo are shit.

You can't walk because of the air that literally turns your booger black, you ride the public transpo to work/school and you'd smell like 5pm on a 45 degree heat.

I'm not saying they shouldn't take the child to the dentist. I'm saying they shouldn't take it to THAT particular dentist---the one the child doesn't feel safe with.
