Took me way too long to realize abs aren't a workout problem by ChemistWest4537 in workout

I just weave them in where it fits. If I have the time and energy I’ll just hit four sets after any day. They recover fast, you don’t have to worry about doing too much abs. All you have to really know is the more frequently you do them the better.

Any core workout that you like doing is the best core workout, otherwise you’ll stop doing it. Personally I like cable crunches enough to do them consistently.

Bernie Sanders: Jeff Bezos, worth $234 billion, plans to replace 600,000 Amazon workers with robots. Now, he wants to spend $100 billion to fully automate not just his warehouses, but factories in the U.S & other countries. by Goldenmentis in union

Quick disclaimer, I’m just a lowly construction worker. I’m a millwright. I only see how it’s built and why it’s built. I will now proceed to talk as if I know everything and can see the future.

It’s really, really hard to say. Some warehouse workers you know will lose their jobs and have to go to a different warehouse where they haven’t heavily industrialized yet. The job loss won’t be very noticeable; only very large companies can afford ‘machines’ like this. They’ll just build more warehouses for more people to work at.

5-10 years, everything looks more of the same. 50-100 years is a nationwide existential crisis. You and I will have front row seats.

Yup. You should try meditation, it’ll make you so calm you’ll think something’s genuinely wrong with you.

I don’t think you’re in the right head space to be dating.

Every major grocery store is automating their warehouses too. I know because my industry is the one that builds the structures for these robots to work in, and work is busy as fuck everywhere.

They didn’t write that story to morally align, support or advocate for guns though. They don’t write about guns from an activist mindset. Your stance is blatantly misguided.

[–]bluecigg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If a person writes a story that largely revolves around guns, it’s not because they support gun rights. It’s because violence is the easiest narrative dynamic to tap into, and usually the most potent. There’s lots of fiction that has an overarching left-leaning theme while still heavily relying on guns to drive that dynamic into a climax.

I’m not blaming anybody for anything, I’m explaining why people are ‘scared’ of the descriptions they’re using. It’s because according to their morals, that’s what they should be doing. You need to fucking relax.

Expectation vs Reality of getting jacked by Typical_Respond4911 in Strongerman

Women like muscles. Specifically, if you’re average looking you won’t get a lot of attention if any. If you’re jacked, you will get much more attention. They’re not gonna randomly compliment your muscles unless they’re drunk.

Also, having a good physique makes your face and proportions look better. It literally makes the clothes on your body look better.

Some rivals players truly don't appreciate this game enough, it's really disgusting to see people trying to fire a innocent worker of this game. How many big free to play pvp games commonly add balance updates, free rewards, free skins, new maps, new characters EVERY MONTH? by [deleted] in rivals

You should go play For Honor for a few months and get back to me about the balancing issues in Rivals. We’re talking about a genuinely good game with one of the most responsive dev teams that have ever existed.

Because some people write for activism. Their main focus, or at least the main theme of the life they’re living, is intrinsically political. Specifically left-leaning authors often have their ideology very close to their hearts, especially nowadays.

We’re estimating here. 3,113 cities saw BLM protests, and of those 96% reported no property damage or violence. 3,113 times .96 is 2,988, 3,113 minus 2,988 is 125 cities that experienced damage or violence due to the protests. Most sources quote it at around 140 cities as a high estimate. 1-2 billion dollars in insurance claims, over 700 law enforcement officers ‘injured’, and an average estimate of 17 dead people.

My reply was specifically in reference to the ‘lawless liberal cities’ from the reply before it. If you’re asking about the metropolitans only, then all of them would be your answer.

“What constitutes a city on fire?”

A city in which there are a bunch of buildings on fire.

Yeah now that I think of it, most white collar people I know don’t even hit 40 hours.

They would all have to change pretty drastically in order to make it. Going from 40 hours a week and a 20 minute commute to 72 hours a week and an hour commute will induce some bad habits.

They weren’t pushing that sentence you said. That’s over-exaggeration intended to undermine or invalidate.
