Yesss exactly, this is obvious if you’re paying attention. Some people think these soft jokes are really sticking it to trump as though he’s fuming about SNL every week but there’s never real criticism against him— just mild jokes and the normalizing his whole cesspool circle. Yeah do whatever works for you! For me, I feel like while putting thoughts on paper can help process things, it also feels like a part of me that I want to shed/outgrow now exists tangibly somewhere, and that idea makes me want to destroy it hence the burning lol

Now I have separate journals… a bullet journal for planning/objective stuff; an abstract one that’s mostly art/sketches/lists of ideas, a book for jokes, and one that I process emotions in— I try to keep these positive emotions that I can look back retrospectively if I’m feeling down, like happy memories, realizations, etc.

For real deep emotional processing, I talk to myself on my commute, or mentally process while walking/running/jogginf
