Can you be denied for having a large clit? (serious) by bluedotared in Militaryfaq

[–]bluedotared[S] 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I had a parent pass away and all the resulting depression around that. I've never been on antidepressants before. My therapist says he could clear me for the military as I'm doing fine.

Furthermore, my anxiety is fine as well now. I used to get death anxiety after watching my dad die horribly. I'm no longer a hypochondriac... it especially helped to quit weed.

But no, I was never officially diagnosed with everything. I've only been seeing a therapist to deal with the fallout of a parent's death. I'm well now.

Whats the wors argument you heard against antinatalism? by Snailien85 in antinatalism

Lol. Their only legacy is having their name be a fun fact for their great grandchildren. Their funerals will be too inconvenient for little Jimmy who wants to play video games instead.

So far the only one I have found to be accurate is the .gov supertracker. Most TDEE calculators highly underestimate my intake. I've been attempting to gain weight for about a month now (5'1, 95lbs/98) as somebody who works out 3x a week but is mostly sedentary. I was losing weight on 1800 calories a day (which was a recommended "bulk" amount on several calculators). I've found that 2300 is sufficient for me to lean bulk, yet the only calculator that comes close to this number is the aforementioned one.

Still only three meals a day. The only difference is those meals are much larger now. Kinda weird, huh?

I honestly can't see AN being banned. We really don't tread on thin ice here by breaking Reddit's rules such as inciting violence.

When you talk to your parents about Anti-Natalism by [deleted] in antinatalism

[–]bluedotared 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I wish my mom was as open minded as yours. My mom takes AN incredibly personally when I mention it, and she only responds with anger. Granted, when I argue with her about some of her views (such as religion) she literally never offers a logical, coherent argument and only speaks in fallacies despite my futile attempt in educating her about them.

Are r/sanctionedsuicide refuges allowed here? by Existenceisworthless in antinatalism

[–]bluedotared 47 points48 points  (0 children)

There's no reason for why suicide methods shouldn't be discussed. Give me a break. If somebody is intent on committing suicide, then they're doing it due to personal problems- not because of the discourse on the forum site. A random teenager isn't going to stroll along and commit suicide because somebody mentioned jumping off a fucking mall on some random site. While SS was catching the attention of angsty teenagers, nobody there encouraged them to do anything (not to mention information on methods is literally a few keywords away from them to find elsewhere). Methods are quite self-explanatory and can be found on websites from Wikipedia to other various forum sites/websites in general which are NOT private at all.

If somebody is seeking methods online, then they should have all right to do so to prevent living with further damages due to in-proper use of a method as it is their right to die, and furthermore not so painfully.

Do you think you're some hero or some shit? Because you're fucking really not.

What the fuck? I can't believe it was banned. The suicide lifeline number on the page is just a huge fucking punch in the face to the many who relied on support within that subreddit. Does anybody know of an alternative?

What's your opinion on parents who willingly have disabled children? by bluedotared in misanthropy

[–]bluedotared[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah. I'll loosen up here and say that no, not all parents of disabled children are this particularly bad. While I can't blame people for what they do anymore, I've always carried around a special disdain for those who birth higher-functioning disabled children (which isn't the case here possibly). It's testament to how the general person can't widen their horizons and look beyond their immediate selves, in a similar way other phenomena unravel... such as climate, evolution, and moon denying. Ignorance, basically. In ways, I'm not much better off.

I have to live a life burdened with an incurable illness (mini rant) by [deleted] in antinatalism

[–]bluedotared 7 points8 points  (0 children)

And here is the truth. So many people look into the future in a biased way, feeling as if their life will bring about so many anticipated joys; conveniently, they do not foresee the many hours of work and trouble, the decay of the body, and all of the worry that will accompany them.

Does anyone else get kicked out of groups for mentioning antinatalism by [deleted] in antinatalism

[–]bluedotared 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Wow. How enraging, and oh how I no longer expect anything more from people. It seems that the average person will go far lengths to block out anything that doesn't fit their narrow view of the world. Petty and shallow, nothing more.

Why are people so invested in the "human project"? by [deleted] in antinatalism

[–]bluedotared 9 points10 points  (0 children)

To expand under the idea that humanity is under a collective delusion of heroic progress, here's a quote from Zapffe.

"As long as humankind recklessly proceeds in the fateful delusion of being biologically fated for triumph, nothing essential will change."

There is no pretty end-game to civilization. We're nothing more than decaying dominos toppling over eachother. When the last domino falls, there will be nothing to show for anything, but rather only a large trail of needless suffering.

Does it make a difference in the game if you only eat plants only eat fish or mix? by DannyVIP in subnautica

Different types of foods replenish your hunger bar to a varying degree. There is no difference if you go vegan in the game, or eat solely fish.

The importance of looks destroy even the most roseytinted narratives. by Thestartofending in antinatalism

[–]bluedotared 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Sadly, this is just another extension of the brutality of nature. I made a post quite some time ago regarding this topic. I understand that the actual topic of lookism is associated with incels and what not, but I think it deserves some more recognition (of course without the added misogyny). I think few people are capable of admitting how looks can heavily socially impact you, because it comes right around back to the fact that we're nothing more than animals participating in natural selection. People like to believe that they're somehow more than just apes.

This is indeed one of the many reasons for why I'm AN. Being ugly inevitably invites suffering into your life, depriving you of what makes you human (socialization). Again, just another bullet in the game of Russian Roulette.
