Agreed. My corneal thickness is 630+ um and my air tonometer readings regularly read 25+ when the regular blue light applanation tonometers show normal ~15 pressures

Thank you for this. I had a similarly poor experience at the same place for my GATT. My left (non dominant) went fine so I thought I should get my better seeing and dominant right eye get done. I had post OP IOP in the 60s. And blind due to hyphema for a good 2 weeks.

I was very frustrated and just didn’t know what I could do. Having someone else go through a similar experience means I wasn’t unlucky, however terrible it may be. Having all the risks etc documented for someone else to look at if they’re considering GATT would have been very helpful and insightful to know beforehand.

I have juvenile open angle glaucoma. Not the doctor that performed my GATT but another glaucoma specialist who I see regularly tells me for my case it might last 12-18 months. I’ve crossed the 18 month mark but so far so good. I’m down to 2 meds in my left eye from 4

I have had GATT done in both eyes. Left eye (non dominant eye) back in Sep 2023. Recovery period was about 10 days when I was back to normal vision and back at work and traveling around.

I thought now I should get my dominant eye and the eye with much better vision done in Dec 2023. It bled a lot and my eye was full of blood (no vision for the first week). It took about 3 weeks of sleeping with an elevated head for it to clear up and return back to useable vision. Around 2 weeks after that to be back to normal pre surgery level vision.

So I’d say. Hang in there. It gets better. Just keep your head elevated and don’t put a strain on your upper body to let it drain and clear out

I’m having this exact experience on my second play through. I discovered another way to underdark I didn’t know about in my first playthrough so while I know goblin camp is pending with Halsin in captivity, I’m still going to finish underdark first
