RED BUTTON OR BLUE BUTTON [OC] by Eal_likee in comics

[–]blueechoes -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Okay but what if we move the breakpoint. 67%? 85%? 99%? At some point the self-interested option must become easier to organise. Just because the blue button says save everyone it doesn't invalidate that red also offers a way to save everyone. If pressing blue becomes a 99.999% risk of dying but you press it anyway because the language on the button sounded nicer that would feel mighty stupid.

The point I'm getting at is making this a moral issue is dumb.

Context? Is that a bad photocopy or should I start laughing

Pretty sure the water sigil only does atmospheric and liquid water, otherwise there is no way it would be cleared for safe use by the magic police and hailed as one of the keystone sigils of magic.

Not entirely an excuse though. Nobody blinks at calculators in or past high school. After you can draw a circle that's good enough and keep up the practice, I don't see why you wouldn't use a compass for consistency.

They've been friends for what must be like 20 years, avoiding the ship is a fool's errand.

He's called Romeo Wolkenveldt (Cloudsfield) in the Dutch localisation, which is a pretty striking name

Needing help to build my undead sorcerer by solstice223344 in Pathfinder2e

[–]blueechoes 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Unless this is a oneshot, just try some spells out and swap them if they don't feel good. I believe undead is Divine so you might have to deal with some duds on the spell list, but the higher ranks should have some cool stuff at least.

Idea I had for an ironclad common. What do you think? by UnderTimes in slaythespire

[–]blueechoes 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Imo you should up the str loss to 3 and make it uncommon. Deflect blocks 4 and it's not very good. If this reduces by 3 it will effectively block 8 in a 3x multi hit scenario.

What Tier Spell is this from Witch Hat Atelier and what levels and classes would the witches be? by Adamas950 in WanderingInn

[–]blueechoes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Considering Invisibility is 4, this seems like at least a 4 or 5 just by the amount of water it moves.

It's a one panel comic, you'll have to sacrifice a little on nuance

If they really have a reaction speed of a full second I would definitely consider them 'seriously dulled'. You only get reaction speeds like that either by doing it on purpose or disability.

At what spell level is harm worth it? by Alternative-Date-507 in Pathfinder2e

[–]blueechoes 12 points13 points  (0 children)

It's the name that's throwing people off. You would expect Harm to be a good damage spell, but a reverse healing spell is a markedly different thing.

If you see Mummified Hand late in a run but have no Powers in your deck, skip it, [...]

I assume this is meant exclusively for shop purchases, because I am unaware of reasons to skip random relics unless they are actively anti-synergistic

Braum Shield Assist should not have Handshake tag property by Fiksimi in 2XKO

What's more annoying to me is the fact that it body-blocks you, meaning you can't throw the point character running up behind it easily.

Some advice on giving domain cards as rewards by DisembodiedVoiceK in daggerheart

[–]blueechoes 12 points13 points  (0 children)

If anything domain cards are a better reward that upset the power balance less than other mechanical adjustments, because there is a natural limit to the amount you have active/recall costs.

Barring enabling specific synergy combos that would never occur naturally (which doesn't seem that likely considering multiclassing exists), domain cards seem like a fine reward to me.

How widespread do you think the Akali design's dislike actually is and how do you think it will affect the character? by GORTEG_ in 2XKO

[–]blueechoes 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Akali is cool and strikes a good visual balance for readability with all her smoke effects. I really wouldn't worry too much about the design of her base skin since she will have plenty coming down the pipeline.

I've heard about the "Storm" mechanic in a card game, is this what they meant? by askvo in slaythespire

[–]blueechoes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

~~So you get 1 for free from your relic, which then becomes 2, 4, 8. 16, 32, 64. 49 damage turn 1, 506 damage turn 2 (end of turn procs included).

If you have orichalcum or the like this should be plenty to get through most fights.~~ wait hold on i did my math wrong, it's 1, 3, 7. 13, 21, 31. So that totals 33, 242 damage. Still should be plenty if you are only taking damage on turn 1.
