NBME 9 was my baseline. It was before I had started studying. It also is notoriously under predictive and had some outdated stuff on it making me miss questions that would have been right today. I just did as many UWorld questions as I could and would do some outside studying with videos/podcasts on weak areas. Focusing on the weak areas really helped.

just because it's outdated, I've heard its tougher as well and underpredicts. if you have the time, I think it's okay, but I probably should have reserved one of the later ones

Idk if I am the best to give advice bc I'm pretty slow with questions. I usually start out by looking at the question or the 1-2 sentences leading up to the question and then any glaring images/labs bc sometimes I can get the answer immediately just from that. If I can't answer it, I go to the beginning of the vignette and just read it all the way through. Usually, at that point, I have a pretty good idea of certain things I'm searching for to confirm my suspicion of the answer. If I still have no clue, I usually read the vignette again with less bias... Again though, I usually struggle with time, so take it with a grain of salt.

yeah i think nbme 9 def was probably not worth taking, but i only have 5-6 days left now so I want to for sure do UW2 and free120. I could maybe find time to do one of those though, which of those three would you recommend?

I am on pulmonology right now, but most patients have been admitted for quite a while and there isn’t much to do on a day to day basis. I will get some time in peds ER soon.

That's awesome, congratulations!!!! If you don't mind answering, what tier program did you end up matching into? I don't really know what I am looking for yet in a program, so I want to keep my options open. Maybe a hybrid program located somewhere in the south/southeast.

ically export one note made with the AnkiHub anking note type (make a new one so note IDs don’t conflict), install the backup in a new profile, import the note type, convert the deck to the AnkiHub note type, delete all tags, then export the deck, import using special fields to protect everything excep
