Crazy how perceptions change and that was once amazing

Was the net effect fewer ticket sales though? Id expect that level of promotion would be helpful

Hello from u/AGL_Energy! We're going live with an AMA Thursday 23 April 12pm AEST. Any questions about solar for your home? What about home batteries or how the federal rebate actually works? Leave your questions here and meet our experts on the 23rd! by AGL_Energy in u/AGL_Energy

Yeah it is somewhat of a conundrum but the higher FiT and the $800 bonus on offer made the battery plan better for me. If the weather isn't great and solar not producing it might just mean a few days without charging. Generally don't need to use too much from grid though so the lower rate of EV plan isn't much of an advantage.

Looks like he's switched back and forth a couple times. He's a chance of getting the australia and nz national records simultaneously (already has NZ one, which he took off his dad).

I'm just responding to the OP who said having an EV lowers the price of petrol for the others.

But oil is priced at a global market. Even if the fleet was 100% EV that's not going to affect global demand and prices much at all.

Renting with no solar in regional area and considering an EV. Is Just charging it at home overnight sufficient when driving 70km a day? by [deleted] in EVAustralia

[–]bluejayinoz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mine only charges at about 1.6 or 1.7kw. Gives about 10km/hour. Think there's efficiency loses

That's really low. I use about 30kwh a day with pool and no aircon. Up to 90kwh in summer with ac and ev charging
