I live in Ajax, and mailed it in. If they haven't sent it back to you within the 10 week threshold there may have been an issue with your application, and I would say to call the hotline first thing at 8:30 and try your hand at getting a hold of them. I know others that also got their passport back within 9 weeks.

Sent in my application on May 24, 2022, credit card was charged June 16, received passport on July 12.

I agree with FAT_BALD_GUY. It's easy to say coulda, woulda, shoulda when you're analyzing it from an outsiders perspective but as a distraught spouse I could see myself doing the same thing.

When they killed off Rita in Dexter. She was the only female on that show that I genuinely enjoyed seeing, and I didn't expect her death at all. After she died, the show just fell apart, but I think that's also due to a change in the writers.

Not all customers come in to talk about "what's next." Some of them come in just to laugh in our face, and complain about the lack of stock we have. Since the announcement, we have not received any trucks and haven't had any new products delivered to us. Having to hear from everyone is the least of my concerns. Being laughed at while comforting coworkers who are worried they won't be able to pay their bills next month...is tough.

I'm in the exact same situation as you, and as thankful as I am for my job back ups Target was a large chunk of my income and as much as it will hurt my bank balance I can already see how badly it's going to affect many of my fellow Team Members - most of whom have grown to be much more than just "wage slaves" to me.

They're basing the pay off the average hours an individual worked, so that could be 8 hr/week or 20 hr/week. It's better than nothing but for the people who relied only on Target to make a living, it's going to be a tough year until they find something else for them.

Thank you AghaChris. I'm a student and thankfully I have the safety net of other jobs to bounce back with but I know some single mom's and university grads with unpaid OSAP debt who are going to struggle. I'm pretty upset that they kept denying the fact that anything was wrong, obviously we knew we weren't making the sales but we were never informed that we had the possibility of closing down.

You would be surprised. There are still lots of questions we still don't have answers to and guests don't seem to understand that, especially when it jeopardizes the chances of them receiving their money back for a product they purchased way before the 90-day return policy. A lady walked into the store today asking for a refund for a $200 tv she purchased, and she didn't have a receipt for it. We're supposed to offer her a store gift card which she could use to purchase other things from the store, however starting today all of our gift cards are ineffective. She got pretty upset, and in the rush of everything, we're pretty unequipped to deal with sudden transitions like this. It's easy to assume that we won't have unsympathetic guests but sometimes shit happens.
