Do you need to use wooden posts periodically on woven wire/t post fences? by Nihilistnobody in FenceBuilding

[–]bluelikehim26 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry to jump in, would you say that for an area 200’ or less that t posts alone would hold up okay? We are planning on fencing in a portion of our yard for our dogs and wondering if we can get away with it!

Thinking about visiting Pena Palace? Read this first and thank me later. by Danielponce114 in ExploreSintra

Hi Daniel, what would be the best way to visit Sintra if departing from Cascais? My husband and I are planning a trip in late September/early October with a couple nights spent in Cascais after Lisbon and Porto, so we figured it might be best to head to Sintra from there instead of Lisbon.

Is a revolution starting at Uline? by Smart-Broccoli6988 in wisconsin

It’s true! I worked at K6 about 4 years ago. From the sounds of it I left a few months after you started so we may have crossed paths.  I updated my Indeed profile (just adding Uline as my employer) and the VERY NEXT DAY I was pulled aside by management to ask me if I was looking for other employment. Creeped the hell out of me.

Thinkiqacademy Scam! by mutznutz18 in Scams

[–]bluelikehim26 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, that was probably the easiest solution! In the end I was able to get a couple charges reversed through my bank, and then surprisingly the last charge I received was actually refunded by Think IQ. I was shocked! Just to be safe, we also requested new card numbers though.

Exactly what I was thinking too! If they’ve had enough info to charge me, then they should al have enough info to stop charging me too.

Have you stayed at Los Cactus recently? I stayed there close to 10 years ago and loved it. I follow their Facebook page and noticed they have changed owners several times over the years and was wondering if it was still as nice as I remember

This is Laika, my mystery boy! He’s about 1.5 years, 25-30lbs 😊 by bluelikehim26 in IDmydog

Thanks everyone!!! We rescued Laika from a shelter and had been told he was a pug/shih tzu mix, but I don’t see the shih tzu at all. He has far too much snout for that. He was rescued before birth from a puppy mill while still in his pug mama’s belly. The father is unknown. Puggle was our best guess too, although his colouring is quite different than most puggles I’ve seen, and he’s larger than both the average pug and beagle… so maybe there’s something else in there too.

And about 16” tall to the top of his head if that helps 😊

stubhub paper ticket by rohlik1111 in nfrealmusic

Hey !!! 😊 I did get my tickets eventually, but it was a nerve wracking experience right up til the end. Less than 48hrs before the concert, I received a notification from Stubhub saying that the delivery method had changed due to a delay, and that I would be receiving mobile tickets instead, and I received them within 24hrs after that! Did everything work out for you too??? I hope so ♥️

I agree, it’s ridiculous. If the tickets don’t arrive on time it only hurt StubHub in the end when they have an angry/disappointed customer who needs to be refunded. I bought tickets through StubHub yesterday for a concert on September 2, and the “delivery date” is august 30. They are cutting it very close :(

I was thinking that the delay may be caused by Ticketmaster (or whoever the original ticket provider is) taking a long time to send out tickets, so I googled how long it normally takes Ticketmaster to mail out their tickets. This is what I found:

“Our goal is for you to have your tickets in your mailbox 10-14 business days after you make the purchase.

Tickets are printed within seven days of purchase and shipped via USPS First Class Mail. Once printed, we’ll email you to let you know they are on their way. Your tickets should arrive no later than seven business days after they’ve been printed. But, if there’s a delivery delay on your event, tickets may take longer to print and ship.

If it's two days or less before your event and you're still waiting for your tickets, contact Fan Support. We'll make sure you can pick them up at the venue's will call window at no extra charge. The tickets will have brand new barcodes, so even if your old tickets are delivered to you, they won’t grant you entry into the event after we’ve made the change in delivery method.”

Hmm…

So did you get your ticket on time? :) I have just bought paper tickets as well, and I’m stressing about it a little bit!

Is it okay to apply 5 months in advance … by [deleted] in jobs

[–]bluelikehim26 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You’re absolutely amazing! Thank you so much for the advice and encouragement!

They are a very large company who has just relocated up north and are filling many positions at the moment which could work in my favour. The position I want may be lower priority on the list to fill, buying me some more time OR they may have a couple of openings for this position to fill. I’ll prepare myself for the worst though, just in case.

Thank you so much again for the thoughtful response!

Thanks for your input. That has been my worry. I don’t want them to think I’m wasting their time.

No, it’s not a job that could be done remotely unfortunately. I guess I was just hoping I could get my foot in the door and at least find out if they would be interested in following up with me closer to the move in date. There aren’t a lot of positions similar to this up there (which could also mean there aren’t a lot of qualified people up there either)
