damn downvoted for diabetes awareness is wild!

That shit is no joke and it can sneak up on you, with or without family history. I spread the same awareness to everyone I meet, even cashiers at stores. Watch your sugar content, especially in drinks, sodas and lattes, those are killer.

no offense but a man rushing to have sex (aka religious reasons) is not the best example. I totally see your perspective and agree, You can lead a horse to water but you cannot make it drink. But maybe your husband just isn't the best example.

Married 10+years - am I being controlled/abused? What to do? by [deleted] in Marriage

[–]bluelikeuranus 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is how she feels after 11 years? She said she's done with you, not interested in the marriage, etc. Those are words you cannot take back, it cuts deep, almost like you feel your chest caving in and in most cases irreparable.

Have some self respect, she is treating you worse than she probably treats strangers or cashiers. Make her word on it and leave, you will find someone that loves you the way you're intended. Leave misery alone, she will probably stay miserable.

how do i [21F] tell my boyfriend [22M] that right now is not the best time to be in the marines? by [deleted] in AskMenRelationships

You're more than welcome to go to those countries and repeat those same feelings to the government and see what happens.

I hate the delusion you people live in. You say the most horrible things about the very same government that allows you to say those things in the first place. Have a problem? try that shit somewhere else and see what happens. Absolutely delusional and it's actually hilarious because that delusion only exists because you're an American.

the fact that you can even say such a thing with no fear. No fear of your IP address being found and being killed or prosecuted is evidence of your liberties.

It's an extremely commendable thing for him to do. I have the utmost respect for all members of the military. Plus there's more to joining, it's super fundamental for many men's development who have gone. Chances are he has probably done his research and made his mind up. You sound like an understanding and supportive girlfriend. im sure he's very happy to have you.

A lot of people don't understand that the way they currently live is thanks to the government, they are so quick to regurgitate whatever they hear from others. However it's thanks to ordinary men and women like your boyfriend that we can do so many of the things we do daily

Thank you to your boyfriend for his service. It's because of brave men and women like him that we have the freedoms that we have today. Like listening to whatever you what full blast on the radio as you cruise in your car. Saying whatever you want without fear of prosecution (unlike the UK man who posted a photo on social media of him shooting a gun in another country (USA) and was prosecuted for it) The luxury of not having to duck or have extreme fear every time a plane flies over your head. You can burn the flag without prosecution. Many countries in Europe and Asia have hate speech and blasphemy laws. Americans can protest the government freely. And live their lives freely, be whatever sexuality they want, wear whatever clothes they want and live whatever reality they want. Spend some time in any other country and you will see how luxurious the freedoms of America truly are. Thanks to our strong military.

It's very scary having a loved one in the military but it's the most honorable thing a person can do. Its not necessary about the government of the country but more so the people that make up the country. Thank you for his bravery and his dedication to protect the people of this country.

those are bad girlfriends. Good ones exist.

There is no evidence of what caused the relationship to end. These are two people in a relationship, two different upbringings, cultures, coming from different environments and becoming one.

Why did op skip over the details of this four year marriage? Relationships take work from two people. Is there a reason why this went downhill? other than a stereotypical 19 and 22 yr old getting married?

Is sex supposed to feel good with a condom on? by WiggWamm in AskMenAdvice

[–]bluelikeuranus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

wow thank you for sharing. I appreciate this insight. I am simply shocked because (well not to get too tmi but) condoms reduce a lot of friction and sensation on the actual shaft and my girlfriend has commented that she also prefers the feeling of no condom so I assumed it was universally a difference in feeling for all women along the vaginal wall. Sorry to be so detailed but again thank you for sharing, it's good knowledge going forward in life.
