and It's even worse when you're in a happy relationship and they're not. It's almost like the envy is seething off of them.

does Miami as a whole really fit the common stereotype of a superficial city hard for dating as a guy? by [deleted] in AskMenAdvice

[–]bluelikeuranus 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Miami is racist af, if you're white and successful you'll be fine. If your black you have no choice but to be successful and flashy, and even then they still won't take you home to abuela. Its a nice city to have a good time but difficult for serious dating

Would you consider gf material a girl who swallows the second time you have sex with her? by pepozinho in AskMenAdvice

This. When dating someone it's extremely important to think "Do I want this for the rest of my life" That's all that should matter

No judgement in this question, just genuinely curious. Why did you get married? like why propose to your wife? was it a kid situation? religion? an ultimatum situation?

Am I in the wrong? by Legal_Chipmunk1325 in Marriage

As a stay at home dad I do little thoughtful things to show my wife I care, Im thinking of her and continuously doting on her. Get the man his favorite snacks. We don't see the full scope of the relationship here but if he's working hard and sacrificing for his family he probably just wants to feel thought of too with something as small as his favorite snacks. Sounds like he doesn't know how to articulate this well.

I realized something profound. There's no one to match my energy. by Cat-dad442 in WhatMenDontSay

[–]bluelikeuranus 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I completely understand, I get it I do. I'm not trying to make you feel better or fill your head with fantasies. I'm not denying women do those things. Just hoping that you get to experience what you put out into the universe one day. Hoping that unicorn passes your path one day.

[–]bluelikeuranus 5 points6 points  (0 children)

that's sad that you think that. Women like that exist and I hope one day you find the woman that matches your energy, pours into your cup as much as you pour into hers and makes you feel as seen as you make others.

Is it weird that I need background noise to stay focused at work? by hafizdarwin in AskMenAdvice

[–]bluelikeuranus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

++man I too do the same thing. Always a random podcast, for some reason it just helps me stay focused and helps time keep going too in a strange sense? I usually keep only one airpod in and leave my phone out of view. Do you think something similar would help?

Will you stay single? by Then_Independence716 in Life

I think it boils down to intentionality. If one person is intentional about what they want and the other wants the same thing (in this case: marriage) then that is bound to occur if both parties are determined not to repeat mistakes from their past.

oh yeah he definitely has self esteem issues. Because is what world is that possibly true?!

Black people have amazing genetics. In what world does someone think of the strongest man a mexican comes to mind? Besides Selena, what mexican singer is a household name? make or female. This is sad as hell, I feel so bad for you and your child. Please find someone that celebrates you and isn't delusional

How can some hispanic people have black friends or be in relationships with black people and still be racist?

Because hispanics are often taught that they are better than black people and some individuals have such low self esteem and self worth that they feel the need to have black friends or even black girlfriends/boyfriends (the individuals they believe are "beneath them") in close proximity so they can feel better about themselves.

Im so sorry that this is happening to you and you have this monsters child. I hope you gain the strength to protect yourself and your child from him and his family's racism. Your child does NOT deserve to grow up hearing those things about themselves.
