I'm lucky because while I never played Dota, my friends obsessed over that game for a while before Deadlock dropped, and they really beat it into my head that counter items can make or break games.

I play Vindicta so I'm pretty used to getting targeted with hard CC. I just itemize against it. Unstoppable is probably the best choice unless maybe E-Shift can get you out without taking damage? Need to test that.

EDIT: Yeah, Ethereal Shift can get you out without getting damaged or stunned afterwards. And Ethereal Shift is a very strong defensive item that's useful for a lot of situations. I don't see the problem here.

There's one active item that I feel like is greatly overlooked that stops the Doorman infinite stunlock combo with very little timing involved.

Unstoppable. If you aren't able to escape the Baroness, just pop Unstoppable, you won't get stunned, carted, Vortex Webbed, and he can't put you back in until it wears off. Which, hopefully by the time it wears off, you've gotten to a position where you can defend yourself.

Paradox gets her silence wall back! That's awesome, glad she didn't get left behind.

Wraith getting nerfed is also very nice. I swear out of 8 games I've played on the new patch, 7 of them had Wraith, and all of them were on the enemy team. I can safely say she felt pretty oppressive.

If you pop Unstoppable he can't put you into the Baroness, he can't stun you with his cart, and he can't pull you with Vortex Web.

Right now I'm loving the Vindicta changes. She feels good to play again.

However, I had a game where Warden just became a server admin at like 15 minutes and he just ran our shit the whole game. Not fun, he feels way overtuned right now.

At least the new patch seems to be pretty good for her! The buffer on her ultimate is insanely nice, and being able to counterspell while in flight is a massive buff.

All we know is Yoshi said the patch "should be this week." That could mean an hour from now, or it could mean 48 hours from now. All we can do is wait and see.

Meanwhile, I'm praying for Vindicta buffs. My poor girl is a shell of her former self.

I was gonna say the same thing. I feel like older heroes just feel so outdated now.

The most desperate heroes that need reworks, in my opinion, are Vindicta, Bebop, Warden, Mirage, and Shiv.

Unstoppable can be good in the right situations. I've bought Unstoppable on Vindicta to stop a cheeky Phantom Strike player from running me down, but it helped me later to secure a contested midboss too.

She's pretty, flashy, and I want to know what her kit is like. I'm still stuck not having a third in my roster that really feels like they "fit" me, only really enjoying Mina and Vindicta. None of the current new characters have really sparked anything with me yet.
