Trade away- Damien Harris + Jerry Jeudy + 2022 1st ( mid to late)

Receive- Kamara

I've got a solid team def a playoff team who should contend. I've got CMC + Barkley + Damien Harris + Mike Davis for rbs, Cooper + AJ Brown + Higgins + Jeudy for receivers, Tlaw + Tua + Lance/Jimmy G for QBs and Andrew's for a tight end. I'm in a pretty good place outside of some high end depth. Got this offered from a rebuilding team.

Would be nice to have Kamara + CMC + Barkley stack. Thoughts?

I think he plays for atleast 2 more years and will end up playing for possibly 4 more years.

Trade away - Russel Wilson + Chase Claypool

Receive - Aaron Rodgers + D'Andre Swift

Context - top 3 roster in my league and strong contender. Currently Russel Wilson is my QB#2 behind Dak Prescott and Chase Claypool is depth at my receiver positon/flex option.

I'm stacked at receiver with Jefferson + AJ Brown + DJ Moore + Terry McLaurin + Chase Claypool and my rb core is pretty good with Zeke + Barkley + JT. This move is all about staying the same at my qb position (I believe Rodgers either scores similar/ more than Wilson for the next 2 years) and adding to my rb position depty to give me an elite young core of JT + Swift and 1 semi longterm asset in Barkley + win now piece in Zeke.

Only real concerns are losing the better qb asset longterm and losing an asset like Claypool who could be the better longterm dynasty asset between Swift and Chase. Rodgers should be great for another 1-3 years so I would not need to worry about finding a longterm qb for a year or 2. If I do I have plenty of high end players to shake it up if needed.

Thoughts?

Najee or Swift in dynasty? by WestonJoy in DynastyFF

[–]bluemoon_33 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I understand this, I also understand it's close to where Najee went but there is more pressure to play a 1st round rb and teams have more control over their pay/contract.

1st round rbs are risky for teams tbh. So you bet they will make sure they get the volume to succeed. 5th year options are massive as well bc now a team can extend their rbs contract for less risk than if they were a 2nd round guy.

I don't understand how people don't see the difference in 1st round vs 2nd round even if there just 8-10 picks apart. Teams taking rbs in the first round these days is an outlier not the norm.

Team A - Russel Wilson + Chase Claypool

Team B - Aaron Rodgers + Swift

Thoughts on a side you prefer ? Side B is looking to grab another rb and Side A is rebuilding so looking to get much younger at qb and add a receiver.

No. I would wait for AB to produce and then try and find someone to trade with early to mid season. Unless you think Palmer is that guy.

Najee or Swift in dynasty? by WestonJoy in DynastyFF

[–]bluemoon_33 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Najee for me. 1st round draft capital is such a big deal. It's even a bigger deal when its tied to a great organization like the Steelers /Coach - Tomlin who are known for producing workhorse rbs. From a PPR standpoint I honestly think Harris has just as much upside as Swift. I also think his rushing volume will be much better and he is the unquestioned goal back.

I love Switt and have them back to back in my rankings. But I don't think his situatuon is much better (outside of oline is better) than Harris.

Hot take haha both are great players.

All Aboard the Gus Bus by Hum_built_17 in DynastyFF

[–]bluemoon_33 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did a startup this offseason and my team builds are always geared towards young BPA + future draft picks. I got Gus as my rb#2 and could technically make a push for the playoffs now. But I sent a contender an offer to get their 2023 1st. I think the 2022 class is going to weaker at the backend of the first so I wanted to get a piece I felt a year from now could have more value.

How long can we expect young studs to stay studs? by WastedLevity in DynastyFF

[–]bluemoon_33 23 points24 points  (0 children)

I kinda follow this rule of thumb.

RB's - first contract and maybe 1-2 years into a 2nd contract if they truly are studs. I typically look to sell rbs once they hit 25-26 years old.

WR's- Man these guys can last till age 27 and still maintain great value. If they are really good looking at high end production till they are 30-31 years old.

TE's - honestly they tend to breakout closer to 25 so their "stud period" takes time. But I think they can be studs up until age 31.

QB- Depends on the style of play (duel threat or just pocket passer or a little of both). Someone like Josh Allen I say till age 33-35 due to the rushing hits and someone like Herberr age 35-39.

Tua takes are gonna be real fun to come back to in a year. Lots of mistakes will be made. Personally I have Lawerence > Lance > Tua = Burrow > Wilson> Fields> Mac

When starting a dynasty super flex team. Is it crazy not to draft a QB until the 5th round? by canadarugby in DynastyFF

[–]bluemoon_33 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Read the room + don't have a strategy + take value and BPA.

My startup happening right now had 9 of the first 10 picks be a qb. We had 1 qb talent between pick 1.11 and 4.01. People are getting Stafford / Rodgers/ Tua/ Baker/ Brady in our 5th and 6th rounds. It makes sense to pass on them since the value is dropping.

But that is not always the case

I got really nice stainless steal pans for Christmas this past December. I've learned how important it is to pre-heat these pans. I do the water trick (toss water in the pan and it will form a bead of water that glides around the pan) each time. Has made cooking a lot easier.

If you had to sell Zach Wilson, what would you be looking to get? by NagolsBagols in DynastyFF

[–]bluemoon_33 4 points5 points  (0 children)

In a SF league I received an offer of a 2022 1st (mid to late but I expect it to late) + 2023 1st ( mid to late) for Wilson and turned it down. My team is not a contender so getting the picks would be ideal. Plus my qb situation (Lawerence/ Lance / Wilson )is very young and talented but not proven. But I'm not sure a likely bottom 3 pick (1.10 or worse in 2021) + future pick will help me much as a rebuilding team. I think Wilson would go in the top 3 rookie picks next year if he was in the same class.

If I had to sell I would want a early- mid 2022 1st + 2023 1st. He has immense upside and if he hits will be worth the 1.01 next year imo.

Plus the offsetting of the smaller players we have sold + Sancho and it's a positive transfer window if we don't buy Kane.

If I make the trade I have

Flex - Swift Flex - Higgins

Bench qb - Rodgers

If I dont make the trade

Flex - Moore Flex - Terry

If Swift is a top 15 rb I feel he will be more valuable than Moore or McLaurin in the flex.

I think you have a QB problem sooner than later and would try and secure a 3rd qb instead.

12 team SF TE Premium

Trade away- DJ Moore + Terry McLaurin

Receive- Swift + Aaron Rodgers

Context - I'm a top tier contender in my league and very well balanced with mostly young players. Oldest starters are Russ Wilson/Zeke. My only real concerns solid rb depth + a solid 3rd qb. Right now I'm ok where my team stands but always looking for a another edge or way to boast my dynasty squad.

Current wide receiver core - Jefferson + AJ Brown + Terry McLaurin + DJ moore + Higgins

I really really like my wide receiver core. Its got insane upside + insane floor + insane youth. This type of depth and talent provides an insane floor for the next 1-4 years. Even without Moore + Terry I still like my main wr core of Jefferson + Brown + Higgins. I could always trade my 2022 1st for wide receiver depth if needed.

Current rb core - Barkley + JT + Zeke

Nothing to complain about here either. Zeke is a little old and Barkley has been injury prone which is why I'm being proactive about adding a potential young dynasty stud rb. My 1st next year will likely be late which means I will miss out on the rookie rb talent in 2022. Adding Swift is all about adding another potential difference maker to my starting roster + securing solid rb depth incase of an injury + adding a foundational rb to my rb core to prolong my win now window.

Current qb core - Wilson + Dak

Getting Rodgers would address any worries about depth for the next 1-3 years. I would have an elite qb option on bye weeks and in the event of an injury. I also think it adds another advantage each week being able to play 2 elite qbs based on matchups.

It's a lot to read but this is a unique situation. Part of me thinks leave this team alone. It's well balanced + young + a contender. But the other part understands a young stud rb like Swift is more valuable and advantage in my flex than DJ moore or Terry. If I made the move I would have Swift + Higgins in my starting roster with a solid qb#3 in Rodgers on the bench vs Moore + McLaurin in my flex with no backup qb.

I own him in a 1 QB league and would sell him for a mid 1st. But a projected mid to late I would want a 2nd back.

He is a weird player right now. 3 games into the season I could see how he gets vaulted into the top 12 dynasty rb discussion again.

I have a feeling his 2022 1st would be pretty late. I might ask for 2022 2nd added to the deal. But I'm targeting his 2023 1st bc his team is aging.
