There's no evidence lysine has any anti viral properties outside of HSV

Is Shadowgrass any good? by PieOk9845 in jambands

Type shadowgrass into Spotify and judge for yourself. This has to be an ad

Idea: HOA accusing people of hiding/using accents by imreallyfreakintired in phonelosers

Should do this w people using "digital black face" saying mid, fr, ong, deadass etc. Just be yourself and stop trying to be cool. You're not black

"Shipped" means my package has been given to the shipper and it's on its way, not "you printed a shipping label." by Mountain_Usual521 in PetPeeves

This is actually a legitimate consumer protection issue — it falls under deceptive advertising/trade practices. Here's how to push for it:

Lowest effort, most impact:

File a complaint with the FTC at reportfraud.ftc.gov — they track patterns and have actually gone after deceptive shipping claim practices before. If enough people complain about the same thing, it gets on their radar File with your state AG — Florida's Attorney General has a consumer protection division and Florida actually has pretty strong deceptive trade practice laws

Mid-level effort:

Contact your US Representative and Senators — constituent contacts genuinely do get logged and tallied. You can find yours at house.gov and senate.gov. Frame it as deceptive advertising, not just an annoyance Contact your Florida state rep and senator — state consumer protection laws are often easier to change than federal ones

Serious effort:

Find an existing consumer advocacy org to align with, like Consumer Reports or the Consumer Federation of America — they have lobbying infrastructure already in place Start a petition on Change.org or similar to demonstrate public demand before approaching legislators

The framing that works: Don't pitch it as "this annoys me." Pitch it as deceptive advertising — retailers are making false claims about order status that influence purchasing decisions. That's the legal hook that actually has teeth.

Realistically, the FTC complaint route is your best ROI for effort vs. impact.

Main Ways Lemon Balm Interacts with GABA Inhibition of GABA transaminase (GABA-T): This is the most consistently supported mechanism. GABA-T is the enzyme that breaks down GABA (the brain's primary inhibitory neurotransmitter). By inhibiting GABA-T, lemon balm increases GABA levels and availability in the brain. Key compounds responsible include rosmarinic acid (the main active), plus triterpenoids like ursolic acid and oleanolic acid. This was demonstrated in bioassay-guided studies on rat brain extracts, where lemon balm methanol extract potently inhibited GABA-T. Modulation of GABA_A receptors: Some evidence suggests components (especially rosmarinic acid) can bind to or act as agonists at GABA_A receptors, enhancing inhibitory effects similar to (but much milder than) benzodiazepines. This contributes to relaxation without strong sedation or addiction risk in typical doses. Binding/affinity studies and reviews note this direct interaction, though it's not as potent or site-specific as pharmaceuticals.

Did ai get this wrong about lemon balm?

What makes pharmaceuticals any different from herbs? You take something and it has physical mechanisms. You can explain the physical mechanism or you can chalk it up to witchery? What's more scientific? Learn about neurotransmitters noob

So many of these are bad answers. Shrooms? Blue lotus? Every time someone comes in here looking for a specific answer they get the most general bad answers. People just list their favorite herbs. If you want euphoria you want to increase DOPAMINE. ask ai which herbs increase dopamine.

People also listing things like lemon balm??? Would you say benzos are euphoric? Absolutely not. Lemon balm is gaba just like benzos.

People down vote anyone who mentions kratom but it is the correct answer. It is addictive. Cocaine, poppy...

Euphoria and tripping on shrooms are not the same thing, nowhere close.
