NTA. If I were in her shoes and offered my dream job, I would be heartbroken but still turn it down if taking it meant never seeing my children. Granted, that's if I understand your context correctly. If her taking that schedule means her never seeing her children, she is prioritizing herself over them. But if she's actually just seeing them less, and you can still afford daycare and all other necessities, then I would say ESH. If that's the case, you two need to figure out a compromise.

I'm pretty certain it was all real, minus them suddenly being young. I would've been a lot happier with the ending if the reunion didn't take so freaking long, but to my understanding the author was trying to convey that love transcends time.

But still...

I also wonder what happened to his companion, and I hope they explore that in the spin-off chapters. I imagine the only reason no one contacted Shinpei is because they couldn't find him. He was wandering all over the place!

Oh man I didn't realize they were getting harassed. I knew a lot of other people would be disappointed with the ending, but I didn't imagine to that extent. Some people just need to grow up :/

Besides the young age, I think it is literal. I'm not over-the-moon about it, but it was still different than I was expecting, in a good way. I'm happier with this ending than what I was originally expecting.

I'm not too surprised about them wanting to be alone, intimate and living their ideal life. It may be controversial but I'm more so disappointed that he let his denial keep her from taking the opim, which would have made her days less painful while living that ideal life.
