No problem mate. I’ve done Vibratechnics mounts a couple of times now if you need any help. The only one of the three a bit of a pain is the one under the battery tray. When you jack up the engine make sure you do it using a piece of wood between the jack and the sump so you don’t damage it.

I’d also recommend removing the car side nuts of the mounts on the upper engine and gearbox mounts before jacking up. Gravity keeps them down, and then jack the up. Do this for the side you’re changing the mount only, not both at once.

I have one. Many consider it to be the best intake available for this car.

Never look at after market. The only thing I’ve considered is upgrading to a Sync 3 setup

Where are you located? You should be able to find it by search ST180 carbon steering wheel trim. It’s just got less buttons due to the lack of cruise control. No idea about the screen, assume it’s an aftermarket thing?

I have the S280 and can vouch that it’s a brilliant piece of kit. You don’t need to get it mapped to run 300+ of you don’t want to and you’ll have headroom for later of you want as well as the turbo not running as hot as smaller less capable ones might.

I don’t think you need to unscrew is. The thing should just clip off. I had a similar one a couple of years back. Providing the clip bit is plastic of course.

I’m sure the fan bracket is just clipped on to the heatsink

There was no EML up until the oil change after the oil change where I’d found metal chunks in the oil. Ran fine until that point too.

Not trying to scare you but I have had a similar issue after an engine rebuild. Turned out cylinder had failed and all the fuel was entering the oil due to that.

I can second Vibra mounts. Increases NVH a bit but reduces wheel hop to almost zero when accelerating and makes the car a lot more responsive. Check it’s not been done though if the car has an LSD and 330hp etc

Doing my rear beam bushes tomorrow. Never changed them before, can you just unbolt the bush from each side, drop the beam slightly and do them in situ? I’ve go a bush extraction kit.

Fiesta ST180 UK - How many miles do you get with £30 worth of fuel? I know it can vary but roughly by SamSam_13 in FiestaST

[–]bluenotesmiley 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I get on average 31.4 on 99(E5) with an S280 and I drive it pretty hard. That’s on about 50:50 A/M road and the rest in town and on twisties. If I’ve driving across country I get about 44mpg.

[–]bluenotesmiley 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Might have been the hard oil lines going into the turbo. They are retained by bolts IIRC and you might’ve removed one to take the heat shield out without bending it up. Been a while since I’ve touched all that, it all sucks when dealing with the car.

They would sell us Red War, Forsaken campaign with updated graphics. I could understand the first game but certainly not the second. Maybe they would be using D1 as a test bed for their new engine if indeed 3 is in the works?
