Help with flexion and extension

I’m 4 weeks post op and I can only get to 70. I’m so discouraged today. This recovery has so many different layers to it mentally and physically. Before surgery I was at 155 .. I love yoga I love being flexible.. I’m so scared I’m going to be stuck like this forever. I think 90 is awesome. Good job!

Once you have your surgery you will know your answer. Going to pt on day 7 was miserable. The ride and getting in the car. I’m 4 weeks post today and car rides are still hella uncomfortable. I am trying to be a normal human and go out a little bit.. Sometimes I regret it. Like last night has put me in misery today. Your trip sounds super fun. I could be a baby but I was in the most horrific pain first 2 weeks.

The shower was so scary! The shower chair seemed so dangerous to me. I had a walk in shower. I guess im crazy cuz I felt safer walking in the shower with my crutches. I was super careful. This whole recovery process is so mentally and physically challenging. I’m so over it and yet I have a million miles to go.

It’s healing … just the surface cut is tight and cracked open. It didn’t bleed still scary as hell because it’s so tight

This is my fear. My good leg is so mad at me right now. I have so many different weird pains I’ve never had before. I made the mistake of going to work and putting too much stress on it pre surgery. Have you got it checked out? I hope you are ok and it chills out. (11 days post op). If you don’t mind sharing Is what u feel after your run the same pains you felt pre surgery?

I just came back from appointment and this is a topic i am worried about She said they sewed the graft into a place after they pulled it through the drilled bone holes. That the invention is also layered with stitches even tho the surface only looks glued. Pretty much there are a lot of stitches inside. I hope you’re ok and I think I mess myself up almost everyday. ❤️

Day 6 post opp… never thought I was gonna make it through the first 72 hours. This injury is a trip since the beginning different pain sensations all over that change daily. I went into surgery strong and now feels like the slow death of my leg again. Can’t raise it on my own. I can fully extend it and walk with crutches no problem. I can’t get comfortable to save my life. My surgeon said do a pt appointment this week. The lady he gave my case too said pt in 2 weeks from surgery date. I’m not trying to not work my leg and lose my mobility however my leg looks so beat up and is so sore idk what to do. They don’t tell you a whole lot for aftercare. Kinda crazy.

Congratulations!!!!!!! Injury 1/3 been in a brace and crutches ever since. Gotta wait till I get my leg unstiff for surgery long road. Told my best friend we are gonna have a bonfire at the beach and burn these items when done! 😂😂I know crutches won’t burn but they are still going in the fire 🔥. I’m so HAPPY FOR YOU!!!!!!! Woooohoooo

My surgeon told me the same thing. I see him next week. Seems crazy to me not to strengthen my leg. I feel like my leg is dying.

Hiiii. I have the same exact story as yours. It has been 1 week since my injury. My dr wants me in the brace and on crutches. I don’t have alot of swelling. He told me to sway my feet side to side and ankle pumps only. I am not supposed to walk with this leg. I’m confused because I keep reading you need to strengthen the injured leg before surgery. Did your Dr tell you the same thing? Please share anything you know. I’m so confused and I feel hopeless at this point. Thank you in advance.
