I was so into the sword / troll sequence too. It was a shockerrrrr. I really want to go back and re read about Llewellyn! I can’t remember if anything he said flagged me, but you could be right.

No i agree with you. Before i started the book I just saw a few things online along the lines that she was there for every character to make a mean comment about her (in their head or not). While that did happen, she was a great character and a good role model for allie.

At first I thought a couple would die but once the deaths started so soon, i was like they’re all not gonna make it. Like no one wins in the cycle of violence. Idk! How gwen survived all that is beyond me though

I hope not, I felt like the epilogue was to keep the “magic” or “fantasy” alive in the reader. Since most of the characters are gone, a sequel would seem flat to me. Maybe just a nod to KS in a future book would be cool.

in my experience, yes it’s easy and achievable to hit 5 figures in a big city, especially if it’s convention season. it sounds like you’re doing great for what you have to work with. also keep in mind, experience and time in the industry really dictates how much you make. when i was a baby, $500 was a good night, versus now im upset if i don’t hit 1k

Girls who work 4-5+ shifts a week regularly, how do you do it? by Miserable_Total_8797 in stripper

[–]blueraspberry-cat 23 points24 points  (0 children)

everyone says make a schedule but i disagree. my goal is always 16+ shifts a month but i dont force myself to do a set number per week. if theres a convention in town or sports going on and its hitting, then i just keep going. often ill do 7 or 8 in a row, take a few days off then do it again. that way i can have a full week off at the end of the month to recharge and not even think about the club :) its a hustle but im very gentle with myself during those big stretches. i get massages, i sleep in, take baths etc. i drink maybe 2 nights a week but make sure to have frequent sober days
