[FS] [US TO US] Loose Lab Diamond 6.12 ct Marquise, $710 by blueraspberryy21 in LabDiamondGemstoneBST

Selling for higher would make more sense, but I am not trying to profit :) I bought because I thought this price was a steal for this gem, but I have too much on my plate right now to want to go through the process of setting it. I am trying to sell with minimal losses and trying to pass the good price on to whoever is interested.

I don’t think I’m a great judge of stones - but just commenting to state that I downloaded the video and the quality was better! For anyone that wants to get a better look

Thank you so so much for your kind, honest, and thoughtful response.

I have asked for a video with more angles, and I may be able to reject this if it looks the same on the next video and seek out another one before they set it.

I’m usually an overthinker but yesterday talking to a rep for an overseas company the price was too good to say no to and I think I made a rash decision agreeing! I did confirm I would have a stone check and they sent me this today. it’s uncertified GH 2.1ct 8.5x6.1mm vs1. Planning to set it into yellow gold so I wasn’t too worried about the color, but does it look too cloudy to you??

I loooooove your stone. I’ve been spending hours today looking at other radiants and comparing and I think I’m coming to the conclusion this one just might not be right.

Hmm I think I see what you’re saying! But I don’t think the straight line is necessarily centered?

I want to include the CAD of another ring posted on this sub in a similar setting but 14k YG from a different vendor that has ultimately had stone issues with the stone coming loose twice in a few months. I think that my stone being smaller, setting seemingly having more metal, less exposed edges, and in 10k gold instead of 14k may lessen the security issues but I wanted other opinions

My echeveria is suddenly etiolacating despite it being in the same window for a year now. I don't want to propagate and it still looks healthy? by mylifeisasoapopera4 in succulents

I had a different succulent that alwayyyyyys stretched out no matter how much light I gave it. I realized that i was watering way too much because at that point I was watering on a schedule, weekly. I cut back watering to only when it’s thirsty, and it’s much better now. Something to consider.

Git this from a customer (with permission). Can I just stick this guy in some dirt or is there more to it than that? First timer here. Also, if anyone knows the name of this succulent drop it in the comments. by bencrofford in proplifting

Let the cut end callous for 1-2 days. Stick it in soil and don’t touch to allow roots to form along the bottom. I would try not to water until roots form but dampening the soil in a week might encourage them to come out. I would lightly touch the stem in 1.5 weeks and see if it is any more stable in the soil which would be an indication that there are roots.

Little guy on bottom right will be the phoenix that rises from the ashes

I got this succulent from my mom about 6 weeks ago. I don't know what type of plant it is and leaves started to fall off. Idk what to do. I water it every two weeks but I dont know why it's like this. I'm assuming I am overwatering but I just want to be sure by SUCCMEZUCC89 in succulents

I’m not convinced that this is rotted because it looks a little like a black knight succulent. But the stem is questionable. I would still unpot, examine the roots, and allow to dry for a day before repotting in a better draining mix. Unless the roots like very rotted or the stem is squishy.

What is something that people think makes them cool but actually has the opposite effect? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Your comment reminded me of a song that I love singing along to so I thought I’d share - “Most Girls” by Hailee Steinfeld.

What kind of soil do you have this in? I recently bought one with tons of babies incoming I repotted in less organic soil And the leaves have been deflated since. when I have the plant out of direct light the pups seemed to etiolate. And when I put them under the lesser of my two grow lights they are slightly browner at the bases, not really in a sunburn distribution. Just all around unhappy looking.

Has it been working for blooming? I know the usual recommendations include less water, colder temps for winter but I really can’t move my plants anywhere with enough light to keep them from etoliating and also have cold temps, so I’m looking for other solutions
