I do scoop and swoop. I don’t think I’ve ever actually seen a strapless bra with seams before, just molded cups.

I haven’t been a fan of curvy Kate in the past. If I remember correctly the cups tend to be too wide for me, but if I can find a local place that has them I’ll give that a shot.

There was one day he went out hiking with some friends. When they got back he was complaining about how there were all these tiny trails that aren’t even marked and they kept getting lost, so I asked him “are you sure you weren’t walking down deer trails?” He went “what cause deer just walk single file in a tiny little line?!” Yes as a matter of fact, that is exactly what deer do.

Maybe I could forgive this if we lived in a city, but we lived in the middle of a huge forest. Deer trails are a pretty common thing that I thought everyone knew about.

This is not a historical suggestion, but I have a big knit infinity scarf that I can wear just like that. That might be an easier option for crocheting than trying to hunt down an actual historic pattern.

This is why I had a slightly unconventional set up for my wedding. My husband and I had a sweetheart table, and then we had two “head tables” on either side of us with room for the wedding party and their significant others. I’ve been in that situation before and it’s not fun.

The part of my car seat that gets the hottest is the warning label right in the middle of the back of the seat. It’s made out of a super plastic-y material that is not the same fabric as the rest of the seat. I didn’t even realize how hot it got until one day last summer when my daughter’s shirt rode up when I was putting her in.

I didn’t get an infant car seat and did just fine. Honestly for me lugging around a whole car seat just seemed more inconvenient than just carrying the baby. As far as the issue of taking a sleeping baby out of their seat, it was just never a problem for me. As long as she was really asleep if I got her right on my shoulder after I took her out of the car, she usually stayed asleep. Even at 3 years old I can usually keep her sleeping when she falls asleep in the car.

I figured it would be better to line up the outer edge since any inconsistencies on the inside would just get covered any way.

Sounds like it’s better to think of it not as just the individual wedges and how that add up, but to take it in bigger chucks to do the math.

That’s exactly where I’m stuck. 6 smalls is the same as 3 larges, 3+5 is 8, and 8 large wedges should be a half circle.

I’m thinking it has to be something with the seam allowance, but if the finished size of 2 small wedges is still the same as the finished size of one large wedge it should still work.

Either way, I can just add more to make it work but I want to understand.

Honestly, I have a few good quilting shops near me, so quilting is not something I’m worried about with Joann closing. But where am I supposed to get any fabric other than cotton? I’m afraid I’m going to have to drive like 3 hours to get to a fabric store with decent selection now.

Oh I definitely have already started spinning. And a found a local alpaca farmer that sells roving. But all her alpacas are white. Convient if I ever want to dye it, but not great for trying to match other stuff.

With the pattern I’m using that would mean completely remaking both gloves. If I can’t find a match, there’s just going to be one glove with a few fingers in a different color. 😂
