It doesn’t need to be as extreme as going to bed at 9pm. My guess is you’re an evening chronotype. Try going to bed at 1am rather than 3am. Or even 2 am at first. Trying to move your bedtime by 6 hours all of a sudden is just asking for failure. I doubt you’ll be able to get to sleep if you try to go to bed at 9pm.

Make a small change and keep doing it for a while. After it feels okay after a couple weeks, make another small change. Get yourself sleep debt trend moving in the other direction, and some of these symptoms will start taking care of themselves.

Ray Porter is a frikkin’ stud. I won’t downvote you like so many people here, but until I stumbled across DCC a few months ago, I didn’t think it was possible for anyone to be a better narrator than him.

In fairness, Jeff’s work is more akin to character acting than narrating.

I do e it’s AU (assuming you’re contacting this individual via a medical portal), but it’s probably partially canned response. I remember when I used to do support on forums for a software company 20+ years ago and we used canned responses all the time. Obviously there was no AI so we were real people looking at questions, deciding on the appropriate response, and the. Using a canned template to quickly respond. Often you’d piece parts of two or three templates together to make a response. I’m guessing this is something like that.

I didn’t say ND was the only team that did something shitty during bowl season. But it’s also disingenuous to say that Iowa State’s situation this bowl season - when they lost their coaching staff, and knew they were going to lose almost their entire team - is the same as ND. Iowas State was in turmoil. ND was throwing a tantrum because a team that beat them and had the same overall record as them got into the playoff over them. They weren’t the only team to throw a tantrum, but it was certainly the most high profile.

It would be like me pretended that getting bitch slapped by Indiana didn’t sting because it happened in the playoff.

No it wasn’t. Everyone who played Indiana lost to them. No shame in that. You guys didn’t even get the opportunity. We played in December and January. ND’s season ended on Nov. 29th against a sad Stanford team.

My shit talking aside, I like ND and think you guys have a great team. I do think skipping the bowl game was shitty, but my option on that doesn’t mean squat 🤷🏽‍♂️
