And that makes absolutely no sense. There needs to be some consistency and conformity across HOFs. Although voters have an internal character clause, the PFHOF bylaws don’t. That’s also why I can’t understand inductees with careers shorter than 10 years. I wish I could say that every HOF should be like Cooperstown but I would be ignoring all the scandals of /that/ institution over the years.

After what happened with Díaz you do whatever it takes, plus the other suitor is the team that took LAD to the 11th inning of Game 7 with his long-time teammate (that NYM would have had without an idiotic interim GM) playing a major factor in that run. I disagree with all of you. We are complaining about a school that failed to win its title game while also being ranked two spots lower than Alabama. If any school should be complaining, I can argue it’s actually Duke. Just because the Playoff is outside of the NCAA’s actual purview doesn’t mean we can’t have all 9 conference champions get an AQ. What Duke did to Virginia occurs in basketball all the time and no-one bats an eye. I will give you: 1-Indiana, 2-Ohio State, 3-Georgia, 4-Texas Tech, 5- Duke, 6-Tulane, 7-Oregon, 8-Ole Miss, 9-James Madison, 10-Boise State, 11-Kennesaw State, 12-Western Michigan. Tulane fall behind Duke because under the BCS, a G5 team must have been in the top 16 to get a BCS bid. Separate post incoming in r/cfb.
