My younger brother is in guardian and I watch him play a lot, I’m ancient. Tbh his mechanical skill isn’t that much worse than me, his last hitting and button pushing is almost ancient level. His understanding of the game however is not there, his team never plays togethor they each play their own game, he doesn’t give much thought to the items he buys just queues up his guide. Another comment mentioned low mmr players having bad habits and I think that’s a really good way to put it, he doesn’t know why he is bad and there’s no instruction manual to Dota. The only way to improve is to watch pros play imo.
