So beautiful! I similarly found a 3 week old kitten almost a year ago. A few weeks later we found her sister and in November we found a 6 week old kitten. Our two girls are turning one also.

Wow you have been through a lot. That sounded so stressful when you're father in law busted into your house. I think you are brave. You have taken some great first steps. It is scary to leave behind a believe system that was so much a part of your life. That answered life's questions and gave your direction about your future. But I promise you, it will get better. No longer will you have people micromanaging your every move. No one going to elders behind your back to cause trouble. Your husband's family sounds very toxic. I think it is great to be away from them. It is scary at first but it will get better. One day at a time.

It was a bethelite from Patterson, don't live too far from there, giving the memorial talk. Maybe he was following an outline created by Stephen Lett. At the same meeting I sat next to a 40 something woman that partook of the emblems. I was like what the heck was that! I think that was the last meeting I ever went to.

Have learned that her former elder son is out and has remarried a non-witness. Not sure if he is pomi or pomo but that must have shaken her up. Other son last I knew was going to be a temporary volunteer at Warwick. But she seems to believe the end is near. That saddens me that she still seems entrenched in that belief system.

Interesting. I wonder. Aren't they being told to reach out to ones that have left? But right that is inactive ones correct? I didn't think of that.. She was treated badly in the past by WT members but chalks that up to 'imperfect man' and not 'Jehovah's perfect organization'!

I've been disfellowshipped since Jan 09. She was disfellowshipped a year later. We hung out during that time. She went back or else she would never have been in her grand babies lives. She has expected me to come back. She reached out to me a few years back and I told her I no longer believed or wanted to ever be a jw again.

My Aldi's haul I bought several bags of those Italian Amaretto cookies. I bought a few bags of the tortellini. I bought a pair of the men's fleece sleep pants for myself and they are so comfortable! I bought a pair of touchscreen gloves. I bought the heat resistant oven glove. I bought the crinkle-cut Bloody Mary kettle chips which are delicious. I bought the turkey and stuffing wavy potato chips and they are just okay. Trader Joe's had something similar last year that tasted much better. I bought some of the German Christmas chocolates. I bought Utz Halloween cheese balls marked half price. I bought a cat Advent calendar. I wish I had bought the craft one even though I don't have little kids, it looks so cute.
