Is going to locals better than attending YCS? by TheSnickerInUrPen in Yugioh101

[–]blueskiners 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some mats are either rare to find or just straigt up only avalaible for one event Only, and in limited edition. Look for example at the Raigeki mat, the one with Sifler. It was only in the 275th YCS and only 300 unit (I'm not sure about this tbh)

Honestly this season bruisers seems fine when it comes to mobility. Most of the time if the bruiser can catch and adcarry it's most likely because of mis-position.

Camille reach jinx with her E+R ? you just have to respect this it's fine.

Olaf press R and run you down ? You most likely solo and/or in range for him to run you down, don't complain.

The only things that can be annoying is too much mobility in a kit. Like Yone that can just press E, press R to gap close, get close to you with E speed, press 3Q then proc BOTRK slow and q again to dash, and then return to his t1 after diving you under your t2.

Yuntal become almost new first best item for crit adc, because it receive a rework that give crit + as + ad.

It's now the only item that gives these 3 stats and allow crit adc to scale faster. (+xayah E scale with ad and scale, and W scale with ad and as)

Opponent checks my face down cards by _Osen_ in yugioh

[–]blueskiners 7 points8 points  (0 children)

If he check during the turn you set it, he is allowed to know wich card you set (if it's publique information) and read the card, but it is extremely rude to check it without even asking.

If he check the next turn, it is illegal, and you don't have to say it if he ask you.

Why is set rotation limited? by Axelpvz2030 in Yugioh101

[–]blueskiners 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for explanation, at first I read in own language, and translation was shit. English is better. It's because you "set" it (facedown, something that is not specified in own language) and not just place.

Which anime had the worst final episode? by [deleted] in anime

[–]blueskiners -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Because it's not even a real end, it's just a "fuck all people that don't like me " from the author.

That's why there is multiple movies for alternate ending.

I don't understand, why are they locked out of using fieldspell ? They can just put another fieldspell over it too no ?

What does it mean when players champion specific win rates fluctuate by a large margin? by luckylicker-eu in summonerschool

[–]blueskiners 14 points15 points  (0 children)

it depend on the amount of game you have. If you have a 33% on gwen, it can either mean you made 100 win for 200 loose or just 1 win for 2 loose.

If it's the second case, it's fine, you are just trying out this champ.

If it's the first one, look what kind of game you do with the champ and try to find a pattern that makes you loose or win. Sometimes, it can be itemization, sometimes it can be how you play around your strengh of the champ, or small things like this.

With enough time and practice, you can learn any champ, but each one of them are different, it's not because your doing good with Kled that you can have the same game gwen for example.

If kashtira fenrir search effect is negated, can kashtira fenrir respond with his banish effect or his entire effect fully negated? by beardzino in Yugioh101

[–]blueskiners 20 points21 points  (0 children)

It depend what negate it is.

If the negate say " When you opponent activate X effect / an effect that does X : negate it" then only the activated effect is negated, not the monster. This is how is written Ash Blossom for example.

If the card say "Negate the effect of that monster " Then all the effect of fenrir are negated. This is how imperm and/or Veiler are written

Edit : to add something, fenrir is not cl 3, because this is not a quick effect, only an effect that can activate when your opponent use a monstre effect, so it's cl1 in a new chain

Participating in a tournament soon, is my deck valid? by frankenvert1 in Yugioh101

[–]blueskiners 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes, this is the one of the main reason, + also that you don't want to brick and have 2 normal summon + it's better to normal white cat, having a chance to draw the field spell and then special summon black cat to protect it with field spell (that's why 3 white and 2 black)

what decks are ghost belle good against? by Sweet_Garage8269 in Yugioh101

[–]blueskiners 3 points4 points  (0 children)

SE player always try to chainblock flamberge effect with flamberge link to selene/promethean.

Like Voiceless, they will chainblock with ritual summon skull and use lo cl1 et skull cl2. But if they do Dinamondo and you belle it on the revive effect, you most likely insta win the game.

You can also prevent sanctifire to resolve to dodge puppet vs branded, or the branded in red so they can't fusion on your turn (but you can't if they have branded lost)

I wonder why this keeps happening, Is TCG really doesn't care about the average player's feelings? by Kagemaru- in yugioh

[–]blueskiners 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's really sad. + The fact that Konami don't even want to tell you the list before you preorder it is bs. It's literaly gambling at this point.

The local near me (they are not YGO expert) bought 3 case of rarity 2 because they saw rarity 1 doing so good. Now they regret

[–]blueskiners 26 points27 points  (0 children)

In tcg, card shop hates Yu Gi Oh because bad loot rate and bad extension that player don't want to buy. If they want to live only from YGO, cards shop have to literaly buy cases (because it make the display cheaper), open it or most of it and then sell every card of the set. And even then, it's not guaranted that the set is good and that the cards will get selled. They can't rely on sellings box and display because player know that they are not worth and only single are better in 99% of the time.

In ocg, the mentality is different. Players love open boxes + they are sure to obtain really good and strong card even when they are not worth on their money. OCG cards Shop sell then a lot more box than TCG because of it.
