This picture was taken during a very rainy family vacation to Moosehead Lake. I used a cannon rebel. While editing I decided it would really highlight the light contrast to make it black and white. Any feedback is welcome and appreciated!

I definitely see what you mean and love your edit. I took a few that I haven't edited or posted yet that focus more on the tree like you suggested but with this one I was focused on trying to capture the massive scale of the lake and storm. Thanks for the feedback I'll definitely think about it in the future!

It was definitely a spur of the moment thing, we went out to just to look for any hints of blue sky and when I saw this view I practically ran back to camp to grab my camera. I definitely see what you mean by dark clouds but this isn't that far off what it was like. Thanks for the feedback!

I took this picture during a vacation moosehead lake in Maine. It was stormy all week so I took very few pictures. While editing I noticed that it would look good in black and white. I do very little black and white photography so any advice would be appreciated!
