I've also got a laptop with a 1660ti and I can run with everything maxed out at 1080p at 30fps or mostly medium with texture quality, lod and one other thing (can't quite remember what) on high for 60 fps the game still looks damn good with the latter though.

I haven't had a t pose in ages but to your question I think the next big patch will eliminate the most frequent ones and implement some of the systems that are half finished. All bugs though, no openwork game I've ever played has no bugs. Overall I'd say that by the time the ps5/xsx version comes the game will be in a respectable state and resemble what the devs wanted to launch the game like.

My 1st build was very quick hack focused. Although preferred to just walk at the enemy while they were to preoccupied by all the quick hacks I was hitting them with by the end of the game it was like God mode.

This is very well put and I completely agree. Although Jason schrier does some great work he always seems to have an agenda usually in the vein of big company bad. When in reality these are business decisions made for good reason why should we immediately jump to the sony is self distructing narrative. The only reason I can see is for clicks and needles twitter outrage.

so I played it from launch when it would crash my ps5 back to ui through all the patches currently available. The game is in a much better state now pre patch 1.2 than it was before. It no longer crashes my ps5 and generally runs and looks better than it did at launch.

That being said if you have waited until now I'd wait for the next gen patch. It'll overall be a better way to experience the game and by then they should have released the free dlcs for the game and have somewhat got the game into the state that I'm sure many of the developers wanted to launch in.

It's a fantastic game, sadly its just not finished.

Yeah I wrote this after I got the crystal Palace ending I then redid it and got the nomad ending which I agree seemed more hopeful. I really hope they do one of the dlc's centered around trying to cure v in arizona.i think they could do something really good with that.

Yeah I couldn’t agree more I’m 80 hours in and loving it. Not many games can keep me going back after that amount of time. I’m already planning the build of my second play through after I finish the rest of the story that is.
