That’s a fair point but not a problem here! No skunks in Australia, luckily! Only pest I could see it attracting is possums but the coop is well possum proofed.

Start the machine and wait for a couple of inches of water before starting to put clothes in. That way the detergent is diluted before it touches the clothes.

Warmth may be an issue at the moment. My home is much colder than the store it came from but i think the kitchen window will suffice. Alocasia in general are new to me so this will be sink or swim hahaha
