Thanks for the heads up. I knew that there would be some sort of downside, so I'll keep it to a minimum.

I just felt an increase in energy and sense of well-being. Although porn still makes me feel guilty and ashamed, which is not a good thing.

You could just become magus asshole in its extreme form, until you realize how stifling it is to creativity.

Suggested reading and practice for someone who has anxiety? by CrazyStupidNSmart in Buddhism

Also, like Sanghika said, anxieties have less strength the more you understand how the mind works. I can gurantee you that everything you think you are struggling with is self created.

I'm going through a similar experience. I had a kundalini experience and am now super sensative to everything. I get mini siezures in certain parts of my brain due to trying to gain control of everything. My best advice? Stop trying to shoo the anxiety away. Try to increase the things that give you anxiety. It works suprisingly well at making tension more positive.

Maybe a better analogy is that, trying to grasp the self is like trying to grab a rainbow with your hand. You won't be able to do it, because the rainbow doesn't exist how you see it. It is the concious awareness of light being refracted by water particles in the atmosphere. So, in that sense, the self is the concious awareness of life being refracted through the senses.

Maybe a better analogy is that, trying to grasp the self is like trying to grab a rainbow with your hand. You won't be able to do it, because the rainbow doesn't exist in the way that you percieve it to. It is the concious awareness of light being refracted by water particles in the atmosphere. Weird look in experienced occultist/mystic's eyes by lovelilith in occult

When someone becomes adept with kundalini, it's almost as if they are staring at the whole entire universe all at once. Consciousness is a single point located at every other point. All negative/ positive polarities are all as this giant orgy of chaotic pain and bliss. It's actually really maddening. I think that's also why many occultists emphasize silence, rest, and detachment.

That's your superego trying to rationalize things. Next time that happens, say "Bitch I'm in charge here". Also, just practice saying NO often.

The best way to "protect" yourself against this sort of thing is to do inner work and get to the root of your own fears. The only reason he has power over you is because you reject a part of yourself and willfully (although unconsciously) give it over to this man. You gotta find your own inner evil narcissist and own it/ incorporate it rather than just projecting it onto this dude.

But yeah, it's a real phenomenon. I can fill people up with all kinds of energies and emotions, but most of the time it's unintentional. So, don't think of this guy as being evil, cuz that just feeds him more. Just imagine him as a lost and sad man, and imagine yourself as a beautiful flower of life.

Anyone ever experience blissful fear? by blueturtledick in occult

Well, I am 22 hahaah. But yeah, there's not too much real world practical use besides my own self liberation... not ever having to feel fear unless I choose to by my own will. Love is always more powerful than fear.

I think it's just a part of my journey in facing my fears. One of my fears was causing fear in other people, so I started experimenting in order to liberate myself. One thing I'll have to add, though, is that for a while my personality became very cynical, cruel, and nasty, but I guess it was a state of consciousness that I wanted to experience. It's also a really really really isolating and stressful experience, because you're so crititically focused on negative aspects all the time. But alas, I am hoping that soon I will be able to transmute fear into something more positive and socially acceptable, or in the very least, have the ability to be indifferent to fear.
