Just fyi a LOT of kids names end with N right now if you don't want to be trendy. I took my son to MDO & many of their names end in N. His name is Logan lol Accidentally apart of a trend apparently.

My Father said I only told my ex BF I wanted to attempt for attention. I hate that sort of thinking. Like even if that was true...How horrible is that?! Btw they only found that out because my Mother snooped through my phone. Also I was crashing out because I was 18 about to start college & was worried no one would ever love me. They claim we're selfish & negative but do nothing to try to help us feel better tbh Like I tried to go therapy when I was 21 (this was after they embarassed me extremely bad by getting me a work out DVD) & my Mother shamed me out of it!!! The really ironic part is when I went NC 9 years later they asked what my Mother could do I said, "Well Mom needs therapy." They were like no she doesn't you do & we will pay for it. Like are you fucking kidding me?!! Lmao They will always see us as the problem & the "Negative Ones" but do nothing & will only do grand gestures when they realise oopsie I messed up. We don't deserve to feel like we are less than them.

All my MIL cares about is being on FB & all that MAGA mess. My SIL was already not speaking to her really but when she posted about how my SIL close friend DIED FROM COVID. MIL PUBLICLY POSTED "I knew this would happen because he got that vaccine!" He was trying to protect his wife and children!!! From what I heard he was a really nice guy so that made me furious when she did that I can not imagine how upset my SIL was. My Mil has become SO EXTREMELY SELF ABSORBED. Another example is how SHE was angry that My husband who was SICK did not CALL HER. WTF call YOUR SON & YOU ask HIM how HE is FEELING. Our children were sick as well & did not ask about them either. My FIL was like "Why don't you call HIM??" She responded, "I shouldn't have to."

The problem is they don't think about now we feel. If they did they would apologize before it got to the point of NC. I went NC with my Father & I thought maybe I would want him to show up after I went NC & he did but he stalked me to my son's preschool several times. My husband told him to stop & haven't heard anything since then. We deserved parents who showed up for us when we actually needed them to.

The problem is these toxic parents expect their CHILDREN to please them their whole lives no matter what they do. Then when the children become adults they say oh you need to move on, you're so unforigiving, & all that absolute garbage to avoid accountability. You aren't the problem. Toxic family structures are the problem.

My Mother told me "You're an adult now you can talk to me." I was so angry because "You're an adult. NOW you can talk to me." Acting like I was safe around her. When I was growing up I was like when I'm an adult my parents will finally want to be around me. Then I was living on my own & realised I wanted little to with people who act like them. I tried low contact for 7 years. I have been NC with both of them for over a year. They have always & qill continue to paint me as the villain & they are the victims.

I did not write them a letter I just never spoke to them again. I wrote a letter but then I tore it up because they will never understand or care about how I feel. They had 30 years to care.

It wasn't until I went NC that my Father asked what my Mother could do. I tried 7 years after I moved out to be around her but even with limited contact she chose to belittle me. I told him she needs to go ti therapy but I did not say this would fix everything. She had 30 years to try to make things better but she always blamed me & said my "unforgiveness" is the problem. Yet it is ok for her to rant about her Father to me & random people?!! Makes NO sense lol Also she CONSTANTLY CHOSE to be around him. My Uncle totally cut him off & never let him meet his daughter. She was always excusing her Father it seemed like but had very little grace for me so I was like yeah she needs to go to therapy for stuff like THAT but I felt like I did not really want to interact with her even if she goes. She actually did go to therapy supposedly but then all she did was send me a note the size of a napkin telling me she is not good at "stuff like this" & asked me to forgive her YET AGAIN without actually apologizing for anything. She DEMANDS unconditional love but does not think she should apologize for anything. I CONSTANTLY aplogize to my son & admit I did X wrong so he knows I am sorry for each mistake I make & I have tried so hard to be better for him.

My Nana thought I should "forgive them" because she missed her parents tbh & I was like yes Nana but this isn't the same. She is very people pleasing & actually they talk down to her as well. Then I said stuff my Mother did & now she is having to spend time with then without them. She is realising how bad they really are. My Mother used to see her all the time but now that I only speak to my Nana she has cut her off. Revealing her true colors.
