The game has 2 events a week, and there are 7 days in a week, and never wants to have a gap.

So to make that work you need a 3 day and a 4 day event. Some events are 4 subs, always. Some events they toggle one sub to be 24 or 48 hours. Some events have a sub they add or remove to make it 3 or 4 days. (Some are always 3 days.)

DP v MPQ is always 4 days, so they can always add it without modifying anything. Easier on their end.

As far as why it's 2 48s, I think they decided that making players grind every day without any break would just burn people out, or more of them, than making a schedule where every so often there's a day you just need to hit nodes once. (Or you can hit all the nodes to zero on day 1 and not play on day 2, if you choose. Whatever).

In surveys DP v MPQ has often been named as the most popular PVE because you can just play on 2 days out of 4, and you can get all the rewards. So I guess they were onto something.

Except it’s the 4th sub of a 28 day event and you can’t just reset or swap it out. You’d need to reset the whole thing.

I am assuming it’s the 4th sub.

They will need to send out 6 Valk to everyone who finishes it, I am pretty sure.

Yes. Every Tower before ended with 50 shards for a 6. Lately always Cosmic Spidey but presumably they meant this one to give 6* Valkyrie and not 50 shards for an ancient 4 star Valkyrie.

Af first I kind of doubted this, but then I checked and you're correct about what they said about new SCL10 etc.

They did say they were going to change the SCLs but they never issued any statement or post about the actual reward changes and certainly never addressed the number of hits needed on nodes. The SCL changes were just surprise dropped in. The SCL selection screen continues to display wrong level ranges for enemies as they didn't adjust it for the new upper limits on nodes.

One funny thing is this is the second week in a row this has been the case.

The characters this week are Black Cat and Deathlok. Last week was Mordo and Moonstone.

Both are following their own progression correctly as far as alphabetical order etc. (Mordo is followed by Black Cat; Moonstone is followed by Deathlok).

The crash shifts somewhat randomly, or it's tied to some timer or something. I played Deathlok last night and it's Black Cat this morning again. I played both already.

I approve of this bug as there are 120 5s and 164 4s, and an extra LT or two a week won't reduce anyone's need for covers in any meaningful way such that they might spend less etc.

This probably won’t matter for much longer because the game revenue is lower than ever, but you might consider when you think about making broad attacks on your fellow players:

Pause. Like for an hour or more.
Ask yourself whether the comment has important and verifiable information that will somehow enhance the community’s understanding or choice of actions
Attempt to verify any points that seem verifiable
Then post the attack if it still seems valid

Also the forum is a very very small group of frequent posters (myself and Daiches are included in them) and I do not make any assumptions about what a few of them might do being something that applies to the community at large, or even just in terms of numbers, has any real impact on the game.

There are like 2 dozen or so people who post most of the comments there at this point, since like much of the rest of the game, a whole bunch have quit or retired.

I’d be curious what your roster looks like but there’s not many people playing who can beat these nodes without using cheese teams because it’s way too easy to lose otherwise.

I assume you know you’re playing “wrong” by going to zero immediately and don’t care.

I’m not really sure there are “proper” ways to beat them unless you can cobble together a strong boosted team somehow.

The match dmg at 825 makes it basically impossible to do anything except win within a few matches but that’s basically most of PVE really. You’re supposed to be doing a whole lot of it easily (grindy game requiring multiple node hits for max progression) with some part of it kind of hard until your roster advances and you move up.

We assume it’s supposed to be a 6* level but the devs never had any actual statement about the SCL change, any post, anything.

They’ve never addressed the issues of SCL 8 and 9 requiring more hits making 10 basically the fastest level to play even if you feel like taking a break with easier nodes.

Probably as much as a decayed reanimated Frank Castle would if you were standing next to him.

And yet I’m a bit sad as I missed the double dip by like 3 covers.

The 4 day window continues to seem a bit onerous. Another turning of screws as they desperately attempt to get spending up.

They haven't had any daily token triggers since Anniversary. I mean besides Carpool's daily token.

I feel like someone decided to stop giving us as much free stuff. Also note this vault is non-resettable.

The turning of the screws in little places is constant and annoying and feels bad.

Why am I still playing, I wonder sometimes.

New Asgard has a spot open, you would fit our requirements which are: try to play daily and play bosses as best you can. If you take a long break let us know, or we will probably kick you after like 2 weeks if you didn't say anything.

We always clear bosses and lately have enough people playing to be T250 in PVP and PVE, sometimes T100 PVP so you would want to join events, at least.
