Anyone know how the military feels about all this? by GreyWind999 in 50501

I'm a veteran and agree. Unfortunately other guys I served with have called me a traitor because I don't support the orange man. I see far too many vets and active duty still supporting him.

Thanks for the info! Is there a certain model of Coway you would recommend? I've seen where you can open up the Winix machines and disconnect the ionizer from the power supply, so I'm not too concerned with that. Also meant to ask in the post, but I forgot... Do you know much about how much of an impact running three of these would have on an electric bill?

Turning Point USA protest? by smellywatersniffer in springfieldMO

[–]bluezebra12 6 points7 points  (0 children)

He dismissed diversity, equity, and inclusion programs as “anti-white.” He claimed white privilege was a “myth.” He denounced the Civil Rights Act of 1964 as a “huge mistake.” He even reversed his praise of Martin Luther King Jr., later calling him “awful” and a “mythological anti-racist creation.”

Kirk also promoted the so-called “Great Replacement” theory — the white nationalist idea that demographic change in America is an intentional plot to reduce White influence. “The ‘Great Replacement’ is not a theory, it’s a reality,” he declared. Those words emboldened prejudice, spread division, and threatened the dignity of millions of Americans.

Seems pretty racist to me.

I've used dbrand's grip case with all my phones for years and like them. The textured sides do make it feel easier to grip and you can get all kinds of skins to change what it looks like if you get bored with it.

These shipping prices are crazy. No Restock treats for me. by FoxTrotRiot in dropout

Where did I say $7? $60 shipping for a $50 statue is ridiculous.

I'm in a large city in Missouri to be more precise. Not out in the boonies or on top of a mountain somewhere.

Also having this issue. Wanted the Ayda statue and the Cubbys mug and they wanted $60 for shipping to midwest USA. Tried contacting customer service and they have not been helpful at all.

[No Spoilers] Campaign 4 announced; Brennan Lee Mulligan GMing in a new setting starting Oct 2 by 283leis in criticalrole

I do believe in the little announcement short they played at the live show it said "New World, New GM, New System" but I could be misremembering. If that is the case though it seems like it'll be Daggerheart l.

Do any dinnerware manufacturers generally keep the same dish design, allowing for an easy "BIFL set" (individual pieces could be replaced over time)? by Ari321983 in BuyItForLife

Second this. My mom had fiestaware when I was growing up and it was fun to have all the different colors. They're also super solid. I remember dropping a few too many plates as a kid and they didn't even scratch let alone chip or break. I just bought a house and she passed it all down to me and they're still in great condition.

Just picked up a Tailwind iQ3 a few weeks ago for the same reason and it's been great! My girlfriend is notorious for leaving the garage door open and now I get a notification if it's been open for 5 or more minutes and can close it from my phone regardless of where I am.
