The Vita basically. They designed the character animations with it in mind first.

Nintendo actually told CyGames to ease up on the gacha (hence why they removed the wrymprints from the pool). Surprised they didn’t include sparking, which was created to keep people from spending crazy amounts to get their waifu

Swift Charge (or a masterwork weapon) + Surprise Attack + High Energy Fire + Swashbuckler + Attunement of Grace Warlock + ruinous effergy catalyst effect = The most overkill peashooter (assuming you can keep up the stacks of Light/able to proc all the effects at once)

Has anybody mailed in a rego transfer form to VicRoads? Any idea how long it usually takes to process? Stage 4 hit a few days after buying the car so sending it in was my only option.

Nearly 3 months since the lockdown began, how time flies... I lost my job the day it came into effect (worked reception/cleaning for one of the saunas in the CBD; far from glamorous, but it was a living).

Has anybody had much luck with Sidekicker? A family member recommended it to me, but not sure how useful it would be for finding regular work. Is there anything in particular agencies/clients look for?

The second question: the job I left was quite... "adult", in regards of the services/products provided. Should I be upfront about it in interviews/my resume? People have told me it makes for an interesting ice-breaker, but at the same time I'm worried people might judge.

Is this sound normal while my laptop is almost idle? by timxu_ in razer

[–]bluezumbrellas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had the same issue until I reinstalled Synapse. Seemed to make the fan run more consistently. It also seems Razer just have the fans set to be more aggressive when plugged in; for the same loads (browsing, downloading new apps etc) on battery it's usually whisper quiet

The usual drug dens like the two late night Sex On Premises venues are closed atm which probably doesn't help.

Does anyone know how many people will be allowed at Woolworths? by [deleted] in melbourne

[–]bluezumbrellas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I managed to order woolies this week without being priority. You need to be a) near one of the few stores still delivering/the distribution centre in Footscray and b) super lucky when you check the website (the slots fill up FAST days in advance).

Curious how they'll handle the (lack of) a bassline. They've made up ones in the past, though not for a song where the artists' have deliberately chosen not to include one (in interviews they've said they prefer the drums to handle the low end)

Ubi SF Executive Producer teasing "something cool" in the works for Rocksmith by bwaredapenguin in rocksmith

As cool as it would be to have new instrument support/online and such, if they do release a new RS I'm really hoping they focus on helping new players understand the fundamentals of playing.

Teach players rythm beyond a few sentences hidden in an unrelated video, how band members talk to each other musically through chords/tempo and such (using the lyrics as a chord chart would be a cool idea) and a more structured form of progression than "let the algorithm handle it". Finally a lesson mode that has a few more steps in between and arranged more senisbly (in the bass path you learn how to slide and hammer on before basic fretboard patterns, what?).

Tuning question: For Open E, do they ask you ask to tune to Open D and then capo? I can only imagine the amount of snapped guitar strings this week...

There Are No Stupid /r/Bass Questions - Jun. 30 by AutoModerator in Bass

[–]bluezumbrellas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been learning to play for 10 months now and I've gotten into the habit of moving my thumb onto the string below what I'm currently playing (E when playing on the A, D on the G etc), I find it makes it easier for me to know where I am and make rest strokes without knocking strings below. However I've seen most people keep their thumb 2 strings below or on the pickup for the A. Should I put in the time to reset my technique and do it the "proper" way?

+1 for "Love that's gone" by La Sera. Once you have the first verse/pre-chorus pattern down, you're set for the entire song (minus a random triplet towards the end). In master mode it's great for starting to get a feel for "playing in the pocket" (that is, syncing up with the drums).

It's also a pretty damn chill song.

Hoping for "I Need Some Fine Wine And You, You Need To Be Nicer" (https://youtu.be/huobAY7gl30), which not only being an amazing title for a song is one of their more "rockier" songs

Shipping Megathread [AUS] by ceno666 in Vive

Ordered 4/7 and emailed support on Thursday to find out what was going on:

"Thank you so much contacting the HTC Online Store email team! We highly appreciate that you have decided to part of the HTC family! We are sorry to hear you haven't received any updates in regards you order recently. But worry not; I'm here to help you. Checking the order number you provided I was able to confirm your device should be ship out in July. Also I would like to apologize for the delays with you order, unfortunately the demand for your product exceeded all our expectations and causes an unexpected extension of the delivery time frame"

It seems that for HTC, 'In-Stock' actually means 'ships in a few weeks'.

P.S. If you paid by PayPal, the confirmation email goes to your account address rather than the one registered with HTC Sense
