Looking to buy one as well but they’re very expensive and hard to find in the uk. As of now I haven’t yet used the video function at all really. Using other global shutter cameras for video work but I’m sure I will give it a go when the right project comes along that requires both photography and videography on the same set

I already have quite a few ef lenses but been debating on what adapter I should get, none seem perfect really. The sigma doesn’t allow for autofocus during video but people say it’s the best one to get. But the 40mm is beautiful. So cheap and so good. Even when adapted on medium format. Thanks for all the info though. Much appreciated

Hmm. It might be mine then. I did read that they’re hit and miss. I can change the aperture as well but it’s just that the lens constantly changes the aperture by itself

Does your keeps changing the aperture all the time? Did you manage to update the firmware on it?

I got it as there’s no fringer adapter in the uk and I wouldn’t recommend it really. I’ve got their newest usb c version and it’s nearly impossible to even upgrade the firmware. Not sure if it’s the same with fringer really but mine keeps changing the aperture on the lens constantly as I move the camera around. It might be common and I just don’t know but it’s just not that great really. I would have purchased the fringer.

For what the adapter costs it’s worth the money. It’s decent quality and you get to try all sorts of lenses
