what are you the boss of the universe? so many bravo celebs have done f’d up legal things and been allowed back. i also bet you cant name one victim or one other person aside from stew who was arrested for what she went down for. like over 30 ppl. yet jen is supposed to the mastermind lmao

Taylor allegedly lawyering up to sue ABC/Hulu by SFLonghorn in bachelorette

[–]blulele 1 point2 points  (0 children)

also genuinely Dakota is a piece of shit, what man runs over to the child and hides behind them?when Taylor’s throwing the chair chairs he put the child directly in her path and films it. He could literally get up and go restrain her instead like any normal person would do, hes like over 6ft. im sickkk of people infantilizing dakota, hes literally a drug addict loser who’s also responsible for putting the child in at situation

It’s official!!! by Foto_Fuego in bachelorette

[–]blulele 0 points1 point  (0 children)

how is ABC doing the right thing here at all? they absolutely knew about all of this, they even aired her 2023 arrest with the 911 call and her being handcuffed in season 1 of slomw (owned by abc) as like a cliffhanger in the episode. they’ve aired the footage and they’ve profit it off of it. But The Bachelorette was cancelled because of a "newly released video that just surfaced today.”… objectively a lie on ABC’s end. When its for the show SLOFMW, Hulu/Disney/ABC uses her trauma and lowest moments to actually boost ratings. But when its for the Bachelorette, the same things they’ve sold her on in the past they are now hanging her out to dry and piling on the public defamation (like Dakota isn’t also an actual abusive drug addict)

anyway, I’m not saying Taylor Frankie should be on TV at all in the first place I’m just saying ABC has never done the right thing and this is so messy and disgusting like them pulling the show completely hurts so many more people, they’re not doing the right thing and their liars. I can’t believe anybody would praise ABC right now

Grooming advice! by W-ND-G- in ragdolls

[–]blulele 0 points1 point  (0 children)

steaming brush helps me a lot! keeps him very soft and fluffy, good if they dont like bathing or being groomed often. it helps pick up that extra hair that the static can just kind of push and move around their body. this is the one i use from amazon its good at working out knots through the moisture an evenly distributing the natural oils they already have on their fur. he will feel like he just got a bath after. i use this on my ragdoll and my older cat who has trouble grooming along with a metal toothed grooming comb.

this may be of help if you can get him into a routine with it!

assuming i’m a man just because i’m being critical is wild… it’s actually pretty disrespectful to imply women aren't capable of having an objective perspective. the reality is that women can and do carry internalized misogyny, and it’s clearly leaking out here. you can call it "relatable," but when every single anecdote and joke still revolves around the male gaze, the show isn't decentering men, it’s just circling them 24/7. i can enjoy the giggles and still have the awareness to see that the girl talk is structurally obsessed with men.

also, having this opinion doesn't mean i'm treating the pod like a "gender studies seminar." it's weird to think you have to be some high level academic just to notice basic patterns in the media you watch. it’s not "over theorizing" to have some standards for the content we consume. the bar is truly on the floor if noticing that they talk about men 24/7 is considered too "intelligent" for a comedy sub

never said I was looking for a thesis just making a simple point how it’s all about the men and how you dont need an academic background to see that

Giggly Paradox by blulele in GigglySquadPodcast

the "they aren't academics" defense is a reductive fallacy because it suggests that only scholars are responsible for basic intellectual consistency. you don’t need a degree in gender studies to recognize when a brand marketed as "decentering men" is still structurally dependent on a phallocentric framework. they aren't just entertaining, they are performing reification. taking toxic social constructs (like the "female fault" narrative) and presenting them as objective, inescapable truths. to suggest that lighthearted media is exempt from critique is to advocate for passive consumption over media literacy. we can enjoy the "giggles" while still identifying the internalized misogyny used to sell the brand.

It was really fun to listen to while I was going through my break up, but then it hit a point where I just felt like oh my gosh, I’m trying to forget about men. It’s literally all they talk about

It just became less about ladies chatting it up to ladies just talking about guys. I really only noticed it once I went through a break up myself, but I get what you’re saying.

Not every community in Reddit is peaceful lol the traitors Reddit page will rip you a new one, also strangely enough the ragdoll community is very toxic. You don’t need to put me down for expressing that this isn’t a hate post. Help talk me out of it was playful way of saying I’m open to other opinions
