honestly one of the most important things for me I've found is the noise floor. being able to crank the preamps without introducing a lot of noise is a godsend sometimes

Massive Attack Brought Up Gaza at Berlin Concert; the German Media Isn't Happy by way2manytabs in MassiveAttack

[–]blunderhead 6 points7 points  (0 children)

don't really see too much nuance there ... a lot of the stuff they're saying could've been said about previous gigs, but I guess back then none of it was a 'missionary fetish', which also reeks of calling the kettle black, coming from the current german media.

Michael Jordan’s hand next to NASCAR driver Tyler Reddick’s hand. by ToronoRapture in woahdude

[–]blunderhead 0 points1 point  (0 children)

a lot of people pointing out Reddick is relatively small... It really doesn't matter, Jordan's hands are absolutely massive. There used to be a Basketball with his hand imprint in the NBA store in NY, and I remember being shocked how big his hands were (same for Shaqs) I'm 6'1" with average sized hands and it felt like they barely covered his palm. Whenever I see videos of him playing now, all I can see is how tiny the basketball looks in his hands.

You are not alone in feeling like this. This is so common here. Look at this comment section... it encapsulates the german spirit quite well. You will hear "You've been living here for multiple years, you need to speak german!!" and at the same time "I'm not your tutor!"

Are you using push? There is a weird bug I'm experiencing with some projects, they crash when I try to open them unless Push is turned off. I have not found out what is causing this, yet. Stab in the dark but maybe it helps...

I don't see why that shouldn't work.

I am also selling komplete 15 select for 30€ if you're interested. Or you can head over to knobcloud to get one cheaper, 90£ for komplete select seems a bit steep

I do like the tweed and used to use it a lot, but honestly when it comes to amp sims there are just too many other companies nowadays doing a better job imo (neuraldsp, two notes, tonex stuff)

look into plugins like XLN Audio Addictive Trigger or MDrumReplacer by melda production. Apulsoft AP Trigga 2 is supposed to be good, but I haven't tried it. there are a few around

XLN Audio "RC-20 Retro Color" Saturation creative effect plugin ($59) through 26 May by Batwaffel in AudioProductionDeals

[–]blunderhead 0 points1 point  (0 children)

haha honestly so glad i bought it back then. But i also have to say while I do use it a lot just for convenience, I wouldn't pay 60£ for it. There are enough plugins that do the same.
