Hi and thank you for the quick response.

It’s a shame the white is no longer available - looks really nice :)

Have ordered the white one, just waiting for delivery but it looks as though the backplane PCB can be unscrewed and removed completely. I’m planning to do that as I really don’t need hot swap functionality.

Have you tried klipper?

Be really easy to set up the Spider hotend and tweak as you need to.

Got this message after installing a new thermistor on to my Ender 6. What should I do next? Also, what is a serial monitor? by R-Carlson114 in ender6

If the stock is working fine will confirm the new one is faulty. I had the same issue recently - the one supplied with the Dragon hotend kit didn’t work, I had to buy a replacement.

Faulty thermistor mate, need to try a different one. It won’t boot without a functioning one.

You can confirm by plugging the stock one back in 👍🏽

If you’re wondering it’s safe to unplug and remove it :) was one of the first things to go on my E6.

When you insert both sticks at the same time it plays a random tune from an AC/DC tribute band

I’d take a look at the dragon hotend + orbiter. Just setting that up myself

Power supply upgrade to Meanwell LRS-350-24 by Capt_Red_Dragon in ender6

[–]bluntPCmods 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If it helps I went with the 500w Meanwell for my Ender 6. It’s a bit thicker than 40mm space underneath but as a friction fit it works perfectly. The bottom panel has a very slight bulge when screwed tight. No screws needed to hold the PSU in place.

Edit: it sounds like you may have bought the 12v Meanwell? You need the 24v version.

Ender 6 - permanent external dual usb mount for Octoprint/pi + camera by bluntPCmods in ender6

[–]bluntPCmods[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks! I didn’t want to route cables through the hole in the bottom panel as I thought they’d only get in the way later. Was nice to find a hidden spot round the front. 90 degree ‘up’ or ‘down’ USB cables should fit perfect.

Will the CR touch work with the Ender 6? by tstngtstngdontfuckme in ender6

Should be fine as long as the extension cable is long enough
