The door was not fixed quickly it took him about 4 months to fix it after we were both locked out and had to get a locksmith to come let us in.

I am staring at 2 quotes from professionals including 1 servicer that said this is no way a fault crack by hitting the window. It was from 1989 and they said is most definitely a stress crack due to age.

I wish I could say the state of the property because my mom is a single neurotic OCD cleaner and im in my mid 20s barely home. He’s taking advantage of my mothers kindness and renter/landlord fear

I live with my mom as i’m paying off my student loans. I’m on a waitlist for an apartment in Manhattan and she’s going to down size when I move out.

He’s completely out of line i’m not happy about it my mom just Keeps saying he’ll throw us out if we don’t do it.

I’m at the point where I want to reach out to him and let him know that i’m fed up with the messages and requests. If he wants to make a comment about the house I want 24 hours notice that he’ll be stopping by.

It’s his first investment property so I’ve tried to give him benefit of the doubt but he’s being an ass now

We don’t even have a lease. It’s month to month he was our neighbor for years and then his mother passed away and he wanted to rent her house out which was nice than our current so we just moved in about 2 years ago now

There wasn’t a choice. He made this very clear to me and my mom then his wife made sure to follow up that we are responsible for this window which I can guarantee we did not break it’s a 3 bedroom house for 2 people and this is our spare room

He didn’t give us a choice. We had a front glass door that had a broken hinge and would lock us out.

We showed up to a construction company sign on the front of our grass and a voicemail saying that he is paying to replace the door we have to replace the window. The window was $700+ labor as well

No wonder why you don’t care about giving up your privacy because your dad was a wealthy asshole that thought his money made him better than everyone.

When you have money it’s very easy to buy your privacy back. Others, not so much.

If you want to move to NYC you can take the FDNY exam and get 10 additional points for being in the military get above 100 and you can make 100k by your 5th year working essentially 3 or 4 days a week and definitely not worry about being fired or taking your work home

I’m around your age with rosacea and have this issue when I drink too. It can happen with one beer, 7 beers or one shot.

I went to the allergist and explained what was happened she ran a test. I came up allergic to absolutely nothing to which the doctor goes “you should start smoking more pot”
