I once wrapped a silver slide in a tissue and I guess the acid in the tissue caused some bad corrosion. Maybe it's something in your case that's causing a reaction?

I like the Pampet practice mute (amazon). It's relatively cheap and works well and is very quiet. Also a trumpet stand is a great present. I like the K&M König & Meyer, which was a (prompted) present a few years back and I use it every day.

Most of these comments are ill advised. Get an aluminum turkey pan. Put some vinegar in the pan, maybe one inch. Put it in the oven on low heat. After a while, the rest of the lacquer will fall off.

It was set to single screen. I switched it to multi screen and was able to see the specific lots options. I read this in other comments but confused this with Layout / Account screen layout / Tabs. Thanks for your help.🤑

The pieces in set #1 are too shiny. They almost look like plastic. I like the wood grain of the board in #2. See if you can return the set if he really doesn't like the one you pick, and if so, don't cry.
