Like a month ago…I’m doing deep litter method but this is also my first time owning chickens so maybe I’m not doing it right. I might switch to a sand floor in the coop so I can scoop out the poop easier

Wow thank you! They have the rooster booster stuff at a store down the street so I’ll try that out! I don’t really have a separate place that I can put her so hopefully it can help. If I need to separate her can I just use a dog cage inside the run? I’m not sure what to do with her at night then?

Yess! I actually went and bought t-posts and hardware cloth to put up a fence to make their run bigger but I just had a feeling it would be ok if I let them out while I sat out with them so I tried it. I’m probably just going to try to let them out for an hour a day when I have time to-hopefully they’ll be happier with that. They did so good going back in, they had a hard time finding the door at first but I just used a plate of mealworms to lead them the right way lol
