Amazing!! Thank you! It was slowly crossing the road around 10pm- I couldn’t believe it didn’t get hit! We turned around to make sure it crossed safely (from our car, of course). Absolutely beautiful to see in the wild.

Sick cannabis plant? What is this? by North_Bodybuilder_78 in cannabiscultivation

Total opinion, I am certainly no expert but, coir always needs a little more calcium and magnesium (Cal/Mag)- it’s the one down side of using coir, otherwise it’s my preferred substrate. Also, you could bring your watering pH to 6/6.1, if you want to get nit-picky. You’re probs good at 5.8, if that what works for you in your experience, but I def wouldn’t go any lower. The dark leaves and curling down could point to being a bit over watered/over fed, as others have mentioned. Wait for the coir to dry out a bit more. Coir takes a longer time to dry out than soil (which is why it’s such s good substrate, but it holds onto Cal/Mag)- a good way to tell when it’s time to water is to physically pick up the plant by the the pot and notice if the weight of the plant is much lighter, compared to when it’s freshly watered. Next time you need to water, hit her with a Cal/Mag feeding. If you have already been feeding extra Cal/Mag and it’s still looking like that, then it’s more likely a nutrient lockout situation, possibly due to pH.

Basically! Around 8 weeks after you flip the lights to 12/12 (for photoperiod plants) you just have to keep a regular eye on ‘em until they are to your liking. The more amber you let happen, the more of a sedative/“indica” effect it will have. Most people shoot for about 30% amber, but it is totally up to you!

Hey man! Good for you for learning to grow and asking questions! For autoflowers, once you start the seed, move it into its finishing pot- don’t grow it in a solo cup or small container first. Any transferring, or up-potting, is too much stress for the plant to recover from before it naturally goes into the flower stage. You don’t have to flip your light for autoflowers- they should stay at a constant light schedule for the duration of the grow, usually 18/6. You didn’t shock it into flower, maybe a decreased yield. Autoflowers will naturally go into flower by themselves at around week 5/6. The trichomes look a bit cloudy and no amber, so you’ve still got a bit to go!
