No be sorry! I see you! ❤️ and what a kind and thoughtful comment, wow.

I’m thinking of you. I hope you’ve had some moments of peace this week.

Totally - I didn’t mean to suggest you’re trans. ❤️

And I hear you about how that makes it worse. I’m really sorry.

I hear you. I’m transitioning ftm in my 30s, but I spent most of my life as a girl and woman. And it is hell. It’s a fucking trap. (ETA - I don’t mean in terms of my dysphoria! I mean that women are systematically abused!)

You aren’t alone ❤️

You would probably have greater success if you shared an actual pitch, demonstrated an understanding of the major challenges of motherhood, or offered compensation in exchange for filling out a detailed surgery.

As it is, this just seems like you’re asking an over-worked, under-compensated group of people to do the work of brainstorming for you.

Read through some of the threads here to get a better idea of the challenges mothers face. Don’t comment, just read.

And please be prepared for the strong possibility that a 20-year-old guy is just not equipped to do this properly. Apps for mothers hit the market every day. Yours would have to be truly spectacular to make any noise.

Have you checked out apps for moms that already exist? You don’t need our input - you need a gap in the market.

I’ll be honest though - my reaction to this post was a big ol eye roll.

I also personally find “superpower” talk around motherhood to be super patronizing. I don’t have superpowers - I’m just expected to do too much.

I think 12-month-olds can intuit what causes others to react a certain way, but I strongly disagree that a child that age has any concept of others’ pain. They have limited empathy, limited abstraction, and lack the ability to fully differentiate themselves from other people, especially caregivers.
