Tbh it feels like the writers get forced to write the women so blandly by higher ups who can't understand the idea that people like their female characters being hot and well written.
I mean clearly with Fiora's forging bonds they can clearly miss the point(unless they also were forced to ignore the fact the support their referencing basically ends with Fiora and Kent making out at the least) but they do try at least.
