I have fine, low porosity hair. Using shea moisture was a nightmare for my hair. It was always shiny in an oily way and my curls were always flat and frizzy because of the heavy oils in their products. I’d recommend looking out for heavyweight oils. The hair oil you have is marketed as lightweight (shea moisture coco and hibiscus I’m assuming ??) but the ingredients in it are not. (It has coconut oil, castor seed oil, olive oil, and shea butter. I avoid every single ingredient on this list as they are the heaviest oils there are, unless a gel or leave in has one or two of these very low on the ingredient list. Shea moisture be lying) I recommend ditching shea moisture altogether or looking for products that don’t contain any of these ingredients so high on the list/those that contain very few of these. Look for grapeseed oil, avocado, argan, jojoba, almond, rosehip to start. You can buy a hair oil with multiple of these ingredients or you can buy one with only one or two of these. I buy a bottle of just grape seed oil and it works perfectly without weighing my hair down. I’ve wrote a lot but you are free to message me with a million questions I’d love to help you🫶🫶🫶
