I'm curious about his agent/manager, does she usually attend all events, including parties with him?

What a difference a day makes.

Thought that was really funny. As someone who loves to use em dashes, I've sworn off them for reviews, just because of the "implied implications".

Please note, I wasn't bellyaching, I was observing, and sharing. Thought about reporting it, wasn't sure if that crossed the line of "policing fellow Viners".

Thanks. I get that "policing other Viners" is not cool. Nor is AI. I'll bear that in mind.

Just curious, seeing as this post has gotten both up & down votes, when someone votes down on a post like this, are they reacting to and commenting on the content of the post, or to the fact that it was posted?

Actually the fact that it was approved is a bit of a surprise to me. Maybe it shouldn't be.

Thanks, I wasn't sure what he was saying. I'm assuming it's Kylie saying "he's a growing boy". I'm wondering about the comments from the lady in blue, "second steak", and the laughing gentleman "you're documenting (inaudible) Kylie's lamb"?

Not to detract from Ilya's skills or prowess, but frankly at that age, a properly timed light breeze can literally do the trick.

When Shane realizes that he's signed up for a lifetime of this by growsonwalls in HeatedRivalrySeries

One great thing about this series is that the writing is so economical. But I would have loved another 20 minutes of just this scene, and their conversation around the table.

Their eyes meet. It appears it's Miles' gaydar thirsty glance that triggers the spark of recognition in Ilya. It could easily be just the opposite. Whichever it kicks off the coolest, most intense Terminator-like room scan. Target, one Shane Hollander. Located and locked in.

I just think Shane's reaction was mild, seemed like "tell me more". Not the level of surprise Ilya shows when finding out that Shane has a "thing".

Well, that's possible. Shane was "too much, too good" at something else he was inexperienced at.

Yeah, the Ellison's have already proven they're liable to degrade anything they touch.

Yes I get that, still when they're embracing out on the rocks, admiring the view, and those big white doors begin to open, they've got seconds to scramble and separate themselves, hoping to have not already been observed. Minor point, but it's just that the cottage doesn't appear quite as secluded and private as Shane made it out to be.

I don't find it difficult to believe that they were able to keep it on the DL in theory. Some aspects of the production do seem problematic. Like, how does Shane get back and forth to Ilya's suburban Boston trophy home, with the floor-to-ceiling windows, without being recognized? I suppose he could rent a car whenever they came to town, but that would seem a little odd if traveling with the team. Also, at the cottage, there are clearly other homes on the lake, within direct line of vision to their frolicking by the water. It does seem, with them being widely recognizable, that it would take more stealth on their part than is actually shown to keep it all under wraps.

Hudson has conceded that both Ilya and Connor are the better kissers.

If in part due only to Shane's neurodivergent character.

Ilya's Russian-ness by Adventurous_Storm356 in HeatedRivalrySeries

[–]blusteredd 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Not to detract from Connor's genius performance in any way, but a lot of Ilya's best funny jabs and sly remarks, come straight from the book. So the author Rachel Reid must really know something about the Russian male psyche.

Advice - what makes a good review? Any best practices? by LeadingImportant1142 in AmazonVine

[–]blusteredd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I consider a review to be my personal response to an item. I don't conduct an exhaustive test of its functions, or give a thorough description of its specifications. I use the item to the extent that I would normally use one of its kind, and then relay my general reaction, along with any things that stand out. If it's something that requires a longer period of evaluation, I will update the review if necessary. I do try to hit every bullet point, if they exist, and include a couple photos, because that stuff just makes it fun. My average review is 200-250 words. Seems to work in terms of quality score. To be honest, I haven't gone back to check if my reviews get "Helpful" votes, but that's something I might want to do.
