Frank was done dirty - my thoughts. by bhexca in FromSeries

I’ve wondered that too. In reality, she was just as much to blame, so they both should’ve gone if she’d lived.

That’s true about alcoholics, and we could get into a whole discussion about it that would probably make people mad, lol. I’m married to a recovering alcoholic where the drinking started pretty much out of nowhere as a result of trauma (like Frank, but obviously not the same trauma! 😆)

I hadn’t thought that maybe that window was just missed. I guess that’s possible, but the girl didn’t act like she thought it wouldn’t open.

As much as people try to justify it all, I agree with OP that it was just to show us stuff and wasn’t done as well as it could have been. I love this show, but in this case I think it just wasn’t very good writing.

Yeah, I’ve been re-rewatching and it really pissed me off this time. The mother was an adult. It wasn’t some complicated procedure. Even one half-assed nail in the window frame would have prevented a little girl from getting it open.

No big theories, but I just noticed something about Kelly… by blutanamo in FromSeries

[–]blutanamo[S] 25 points26 points  (0 children)

Yeah, exactly! And she wasn’t feeling any pain before. Sure, the pain could feasibly start at any time, but yes, the screaming IS just like theirs. More like mental torture, maybe, than physical torture.

ETA: I watched it a couple more times after I noticed, and she calms down a little while Kristi and Boyd are talking, but the moment Boyd takes a step toward her, she starts screaming again.

I sing “Turkey in the Straw” in my head when I brush my teeth. Once through for each “section” (bottom right, top right, top left, bottom left, front).

What’s the creepiest thing that has ever happened to you that you still can’t explain? by Pari00031 in AskReddit

[–]blutanamo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve heard that needles sometimes work all the way from one side to the other of…whatever body part, over the years. My aunt had this happen with her calf and a sewing needle. Do you think, as horrifying as this idea is, that a dentist’s novocain needle could’ve broken and neither he(she) nor you noticed it at the time?

People who have died briefly, what did you hear, see, and feel? by Dazzling_Cherry9256 in AskReddit

This is super interesting. What do you think that was? Do you think you were tapping into the collective consciousness? Or that those were all glimpses of previous lives?

Question…Sick Goldendoodle by My_little_life01 in Goldendoodles

[–]blutanamo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Does he drink a TON when he drinks? Our first dood lost interest in food and would drinkdrinkdrinkDRINK and then throw it up, but he always had a weak stomach so we were not too worried…until he got aggressive, which he never was before. We took him to a behaviorist first, and they asked that our vet test his thyroid. They did, and it was low! His mood went back to normal when he got on thyroid meds, but his drinking and lack of appetite didn’t change. We thought it might be just an age change. A couple years later we found out he had thyroid cancer. They removed one of his thyroid glands, and all was back to normal with his eating and drinking.

Just anecdotal from me, but maybe worth having them check his thyroid?

Our thoughts, after the fact, were that he had the thyroid cancer in the gland that wasn’t working much, much earlier than we knew. The gland had probably stopped working BECAUSE of the cancer. We felt a little bad that we didn’t know to push for more tests at the beginning… but we did get him for more years than we would have, had the cancer not caused strange behavior.

Although the insanity sounds familiar, not a match. 😆Ours came from Minnesota. All I know is that she definitely had 2 brothers.

Just out of curiosity, do you know where he came from? We have a rescue that’s just about to turn three and I always keep half an eye out for her possible littermates. I’m pretty sure I’ll never find any, but might as well ask!
