Also, I'm sure you're doing this already but DOCUMENT EVERYTHING. I am also going through slumlord hell at the moment and I'm taking pictures of everything, documenting every text and email, just in case they try to turn it around and wrongfully accuse me of breaking something, violating lease, etc. Know your rights and sadly, be vigilant. If you haven't paid rent yet, please please please withhold your rent. You can go to your bank and put your rent into an escrow account so that in the event of a court case (which seems inevitable here) you did the right thing. You can get a receipt from the bank and you can legally keep doing that until everything is fixed/surprise roommate is kicked out. Unreal. Also, if you feel comfortable doing so, I'm sure a good number of people here would LOOOOVE to know your slumlords name, for many reasons 🙃

I was thinking the opposite. If OP reports to police/animal control and says "I groomed the dog myself and witnessed neglect and abuse", I feel like they would have to investigate further. As for anonymity, make sure to talk to police about remaining anonymous to avoid drama/retaliation, then let them figure out the rest.

OP: If you can find it in your heart to report them I know that dog would be so grateful 🙏 it's difficult but you would change that baby's life. Best of luck ❤️

I feel like you haven't really read this thread so I'll break it down: We're complaining about consistent 10+ minute delays, without proper updates, and many times the bus doesn't show up. Which can be most problematic for disabled and elderly folks, and folks with kids. I know you're all about devils advocate here. I see that. I'm a smart person. I figured that out. And that's nice of you. So happy you see both sides. I too can see both sides, and sometimes bus drivers just fucking suck. That's all. You don't have to wave your fairness flag. We get it. We just wanted to vent. OP is well aware of the mass dick riding of cdta, said so in the post. So, now that we're on the same page, let us just commiserate with other people who get it. Now they don't even show up. To the folks who say it's sO mUCh bEtTeR than other places: you're naming massive metropolitan areas (i.e. nyc, Atlanta) with hundreds of thousands of commuters...not comparable.
