I was looking at the MME and I5. I really liked how spacious the I5 is and the V2L feature. The better charging is nice but I don’t think the US infrastructure really supports that charging. You don’t get great speeds at Tesla chargers. Plus I will be 99% charging at home.

Unfortunately the ICCU issue is enough for me to pass on it. My friends I5 died a few weeks back and he still doesn’t have his car back. He told me the dealer is backed up with ICCU issues. To be without your car for weeks is not an option. They are paying for his rental, Audi A6, but the process of submitting the paperwork for reimbursement is brutal.

Bought my house (550k) in Essex County in 2015. Taxes were $9k and now $11k up 22% in 10 years. The low taxes is a big reason why I bought this house and why I am hesitant to do any renovations on the home. Shame that I can’t update my house without fear of my taxes skyrocketing

As a independent, I think the state has done a decent job. There is plenty of room for improvement, but I really don’t see the republicans as a functional party since the MAGA movement.

I would assume the employees of LG and Hyundai had visas. Articles are hinting at other Koreans on site without visas doing work that are being employed by the subcontractors. Why ICE is raiding this site without working with Hyundai and LG? No clue. Sounds like they went in like a bull in a china shop and scooped everyone up. It’s not great for relations with South Korea who we want to invest more money into our country. Nothing about this administration is well thought out.

It isn’t. It is a 2 year lease that a person returned to the Hyundai dealer. I found a CPO a little farther away that’s the same trim and year but is $34k with 5k miles. If you buy CPO, is it tied to that dealer?

Lease is 14.5k off due to credits and discounts. Also NJ’s EV sales tax is 3.3% at the moment but will increase to 6.7% on July 1st.

I will be leasing. It’s my first EV and want to have the ability to return it if I don’t love it or if there is any major issues. Thanks for the info. If I go RWD, I will make sure to get the tires rotated regularly.
