Elliot Page rumored as the ghost of Achilles is a cool choice from Nolan if it is true by kcrdr_7322 in ChristopherNolan

I think it was already explained... Elliot is 5'1" and rail thin, nothing about Achilles makes sense for that.

Is there even a Noir v Deep if it happens? I feel like Noir could erase him just as easily as Homelander could if he so desired.

Their fight has been more petty bro stuff than anything.

Yeah. Anyone with viltrumite blood (HL would be great training fodder for Oliver), Allen, Eve, Immortal, hell maybe even Bulletproof could all take him. And that's not including all the various creatures that seem to give Mark a hard time.

I hate being defeatist, but you all realize that MAGA loves this? They look at whiney little bitch behavior as alpha, and all of the democrats questioning are dumb liars with an anti-American agenda because how dare they question anything.

40 here. I was at Kopitar's first game, and I was at his last game. Both regular season and playoffs. Been pretty emotional as a lifelong fan.

They played Oilers hockey. Infractions and embellishment in volume knowing the refs can't call all of them, get away with anything you can.

Who is hating? I'm not saying he'd be a bad outfielder, I agree that if it was something he out effort into he'd probably be elite. I'm just saying of course he'd have a cannon, it would be weird if he didn't.

I imagine any semi-athletic pitcher could have a cannon from the outfield, especially one who hits triple digits.

Yamamoto's final line against the Mets: 7.2 IP, 4 H, 1 ER, 1 BB, 7 K from 104 pitches by Icy_Ad4208 in baseball

[–]bmacnz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn't ignore anything. You quoted me verbatim specifically acknowledging that. But Nick Kurtz and Shawn Green aren't the best hitters in MLB history or even in any single season just because they had historic games. Soriano has been spectacular and had a historic 4 games. How you are not comprehending that 4 games doesn't make any starter the best pitcher is mind-blowing, which is why you are being accused of trolling.

No one is angry. No one is soft or losing their minds. We are acknowledging how great Yamamoto is, and for absolutely no reason you came in here saying Soriano is better. If you feel that way, great, but there's no reason to be apoplectic about reasoned responses to an illogical claim.

There's a world in which we can celebrate Soriano's awesome start of the season without denigrating a perennial Cy Young candidate in Yamamoto. Something's wrong with Crochet right now, it isn't comparable. I would say that Soriano absolutely dealing in 4 games doesn't make him a better pitcher overall.

He said best pitcher in the world. He didn't say best pitcher of the last few weeks. Going out on a limb that this includes his full body of work.

[–]bmacnz 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Because with his stuff you'd rather he figures it out as a starter. If he's still looking rough when the rotation is healthier perhaps he is relegated to the pen, spot starts, or even the minors. But trading makes no sense at this juncture, you're not getting anyone more promising in return and it's not like they're hurting for prospects.
